Just feels that way to me. He doesn’t look the same. I find it hard to believe McVay wouldn’t be using him more if Gurley was the same guy. And now he’s got a mysterious bruised thigh that may very well keep him out of the most important game of the year. Sounds weird. The old Gurley would tape it up and practice.

I think the end is near for our $70M bellcow, fellas.

He averaged 3.2 ypc in 2016. Everyone thought the same thing. RB is a grueling position and sometimes guys have off years or get banged up.
I can not believe we are continuing to have this discussion everyday.
This is not a player who is “done”

I understand we all want to see vintage 2017-2018 Todd Gurley and we get it when the line actually blocks. But can we stop acting like the dude is fucking limping after every play? Or that he all of sudden runs a 5.2 40. Theres clearly a plan in place and I for one like it. This team needs to learn how to win without relying on Gurley. Or even Donald for that matter.

Well I hope they learn soon because they have yet to get much out of either one of them. They are only performing as average NFL players at their positions, which we are not use to seeing.

Disagree about Donald. His stats may be average, but every team we face is game planning for him specifically, and dedicating at least 2 OL to him on just about every play. You do not game plan around average players.

If they are dedicating 2-3 players to Donald, that makes it easier for other defensive players to win their match-ups. Statistics rarely tell the whole story.

I see too many still shots and video of him interacting with his teammates where there is still a love for the game.

I think he is tired of the same 3 questions. I do not think he ever liked talking to the media and it has only gotten worse being asked the same thing over and over.

I think he is fine and we will all see it soon. when the OL gels and the play calls come.

No I still believe they're trying to keep him fresh for later in the season while at the same time letting him play each week. I'd guess his thigh situation isnt all that big of a deal it's more of a chance to get Henderson going.

Nah man, he's still in warm up mode. Would someone who is almost done truck Ziggy Ansah? Dude is fine, and I feel like, if he isn't on a pitch count, he'll get the lions share of carries in the big games! We got a big game on Sunday so we'll see if my theory holds water or not.

Yep. The attention teams have been paying to Donald and the general disruption he causes had Clay Matthews on a 19 sack pace.

No I don't think he is done but he is not playing or I should say being used in a way that makes his salary make sense. Way to much money for a dozen carries a game.

And honestly the whole conserve him for later plan is turning out to be a mistake because at this rate their won't be any playoff games for the Rams.

If Gurley was on his way out i would think McVay would do his best to get Henderson some meaningful reps, yet that is not the case at all.

I don’t think he’s done. I think what we’re seeing is a super talented running back that’s over the knee questions and isn’t getting enough reps to silence the pundits.

I’d agree if we were saying he’s frustrated. Maybe he isn’t too happy with the offensive game plan and lack of touches. Who knows.

It has way more to do with the inefficiency of the run blocking being done by our o-line that it does Gurley.

Anybody else tired of nothing but negativity?
Or reality? He's being used less than thought and now this. Only way not to be concerned is by doing this-
