Yeah, I saw part of that game. Bills have way too many injuries on defense. Even made Mack Jones look decent for once.

I agree with you - two of the injuries on defense have absolutely destroyed them

White and their MLB being out for the year really hurt them

And don't forget about Ed Oliver. He brings a lot of pressure on his pass rush. I remember him torching our OL last year.

He is hurt too? I did not know that.

just gotta laugh

Belechik benched Mac Jones for the final drive because of the int thrown with 4 minutes left in the game.

NE gets the ball back and in comes Bailey "moon ball" Zappe.. to throw another Int

Am I enjoying the cheaters sucking?

Patriots are sucking for Caleb. But Carolina and Arizona have something to say about that. Giants too.

Say it aint so Bill. The Patriot way tanking. :sarcasm:

I would love to see them never win again, however, now with just 2 wins, they are getting too close to drafting Caleb Williams. Hopefully, they will not be able to do that, but there have been rumblings that this will be the last year in New England for Bill Belichick.

Technically no. In military terms we are changing base to renew the attack. They have us surrounded so that makes it easier.
Tactical retreat. :laugh3:

Are we not a dumpster fire?
Honest Question:

Given their off-season moves, are you surprised by the Rams' struggles this season?

Were you expecting them to be better? It's OK if the answer is 'Yes'. We have a regular poster that insisted for months ... right-up until a couple weeks ago ... that the 2023 Rams were a playoff team.

More details come to light regarding Bill Belichick's contract extension

The news of Bill Belichick's contract extension shocked many people, and many didn't think it was the right move with the New England Patriots' current record.
But now, one NFL Insider has shed more light on the situation.
"It's a new contract for Bill Belichick that puts him under contract at least this year and next year. That show of support from owner Robert Kraft and the team before the season. That's the contractual end of it," Ian Rapoport reported before Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts. "My understanding is Robert Kraft, the owner, is not inclined to fire Bill Belichick midseason, which is unbelievable and amazing that we are even discussing this. But given the record, given the last couple of years, at least it is a topic in New England in the airwaves and elsewhere."

"There's a lot of reasons why it makes no sense to fire Bill Belichick midseason. First of all, it's the greatest coach of all time. Sometimes these guys are treated differently," Rapoport added. "Another part of this is functionally if Belichick is somehow, someway going to coach elsewhere next year, Patriots have him under contract. They would at least want some sort of compensation to make this happen."

And he asked a very important question to conclude this piece of news.
"If you are going to fire him, what does that actually do," Rapoport asked. "Does it give you a jump on a process where you may have his successor already in the building in Jerod Mayo?"
The Athletic's Dianna Russini also reported this morning that she has talked to some people that believe Belichick and the Patriots could agree on a mutual parting of ways after the season.

Yet, with him reportedly under contract, it seems a trade it more likely.
The Patriots have a lot of things to figure out once the season concludes, and the head coach situation will likely be the first they address.

Don't forget, Kroenke extended Fisher before he fired him.
