Just got home from work....what did I miss?
Austin Davis??....Whaaaaaaaa
Britt is slow and Tavon is rarely deep let alone open deep. Not what he is.
Haha, nice!!Backed up to the 1 and Davis did a cartwheel through the 2 hole and scrambled for 99 yards to tie the game. Longest franchise run by a Browns quarterback since joe montianya.
Agree with everything you said. Was given no chance in the preseason to compete with Keenum. Basically the same guy as Keenum but with better stats overall.Every QB has his highlights on tape. I don't think we let anything special go in Austin Davis.
I do think he is just as good as Keenum though. Maybe a bit better. So in that sense, it was horrible asset management to give up picks to get Keenum when we already had Davis.
I also think it was beyond unprofessional the way Davis was handled at the end. Was never given anything close to a shot. Never even had a chance to show his stuff. Keenum was handed the backup job. After Davis filled in admirably last season, to not even hold a competition was not only puzzling but pretty disrespectful.
EDIT - Davis just should have been picked with the game on the line. Still miss him?
Yes you do.I don't know why people are complaining about trading Givens
Seriously? Both Keenum and Davis have been in the league since 2012.
Davis has 12 TDs to 9 ints for 2000 yards
Keenum has 12 TDs to 8 ints for 2300 yards.
okay but there is a difference, when ONE IS ALREADY ON YOUR TEAM VERSUS TRADING AWAY PICKS FOR THE OTHERYep. Neither are good.
Yes you do.

whatever then, just defend whatever crazy moves this staff makes.Pick(s)?
Or a 7th?
Choosing Keenum over Davis was not crazy....it also wasn't exciting....signing Foles to an extension before the season may have been crazy.whatever then, just defend whatever crazy moves this staff makes.
