Like 'Roll with the Changes", but otherwise agree.

CANNOT STAND anything by Steely Dan.

I was in training to be a plumber when this jackass first released this song. It was a big hit on the radio at the time and the guy who was training me had a cassette copy of it he would play in his truck over and over again. I actually quit within two weeks because of that.

The worst of it is that the so-called artist of this song reproduced an evil spawn who turned out to be even worse than him.

For me it's the Grateful Dead, sorry not a DEADHEAD and I also have a hard time sitting through a Jethro Tull song but that's just me.

Ok. Yes. This is the worst damn song ever written. Absolutely horrid.
Now, I don't even let my kids use the word "hate", but I truly hate this song.

"Hey There Delilah" WTF??? ""Hey There Delilah" reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for two weeks." :puke:

Any guy who likes that song needs to turn in his man card right here and now.
It's an inoffensive enough song... can I get my man card back if I introduce the board to Mesarthim, a space black metal band I've been digging lately?

Hahaha... I suppose you have a fair amount of balls to be requesting a man card from a RAMS board. But....

Bah. I know a kid in Southie who can get you any kind of card you need.
Oh, and having lived in Boston for as long as I have, this song makes me want to strangle puppies:

Never listened to what the lyrics actually are but I love that song. I hear it practically every time I listen to my Angry Irishmen channel on Pandora.

Oh shit! Well that is one time I'm glad my ear buds are the only way I can listen on this computer.

Anything bubble gum pop. Swift, Bieber, Phil Collins (he was doing it before it was cool), etc. There is nothing redeeming about that music.
Maybe you don't like Phil, but he had some good stuff with Genesis before he went solo. I wouldn't put him in with Bieber and Swift.

Despite being a New Jersey homer, I detest Bruce Springsteen's music and never understood the whole fascination with him
I can't listen to him anymore. I'd just be waiting on him to lecture me between songs.

Counting Crows
One of our boy Goff's favorite bands. (They are from Berkeley)

Roxanne by the Police gives me seizures like Kramer and Mary Hart

Phil Collins was a great drummer before injuries messed up his career. A Trick of the Tail is still my favorite Genesis album. I saw Genesis multiple times during the 70's and they were fantastic.

Years after that, ego and excess went to his head and everything improved for him and Genesis financially but suffered musically(with a few exceptions). Phil is worth around 250 million dollars.

Counting crows should be banished to a cave in Afghanistan to punish terrorists.

Saw Jethro Tull once at Wolftrap just cuz a buddy said he would pay for my drinks. No amount of beer could have made that experience tolerable. I wanted to Jethro kill myself.....

"Before He Cheats"-Carrie Underwood. Can't stand it, and the people who sing along to it in public. I don't like country in the first place, though I do have some appreciation for early country. I guess I can't stand most "mainstream" "pop" county.

In the past 10 or so years it has become very popular to cover songs in a lifeless, depressed lounge singer style. Although there has been a few times where it does work, there are far more greater times where it doesn't. And the over saturation of this "genre" is making all of these songs feel "cheap" and it ruins the original songs.

I agree with you in terms of all his stuff from "Born in the USA" to date. That MTV sellout album was the beginning of the decline for me. Then again, i can name about a thousand quality bands/artists that jumped on the MTV sellout pop wagon.

He has a tune from the film "25th Hour"(2002) that i like alot.
