Helmick was part of the line of guys returning kickoffs today. He did it in college, and being he is a 4.3-4.4 guy, this could indeed propel him over the top for that 6th roster spot.

i hope pead wasn't one of them. he looks awful as a kick returner.

if helmick can win the kick returner duties that would be the best result for the rams, as les indicated.
