Also, if we can't find a way to better this offense with Cook in place of Dola.... We have bigger issues.

It's funny how you guys turn on Danny so fast...it's pathetic...he's better then anyone AS OF RIGHT NOW on our roster...it's a MAJOR lose...the patriots know wtf they're doing...don't be so naive Danny is a stud and he will be missed
I agree with you, mostly. However, it's a bitter pill to swallow, anticipating Brady to Amendola; having comparisons made to Welker in Miami of Amendola with the Rams. :amped:

The difference being welker was pretty much just a punt returner at miami, but the focal point of the offense for the rams.

If he wasn't inured so often he would put up comparable numbers to welker already.

.
Absolutely. But you know the media will put that same "Patriot genius" spin on it, regardless.

He's a Ram no longer, but he still has my respect as a player. and he's in te AFC, which is not really a problem for us, unless we meet the Cheatriots in the SB :cheese:

train

and then he says "Go Pats!"

He is a "Welker like" receiver. But will he play the entire season?

Cook is a TE. We need actual threats at wideout.

That's what the draft is for.

The dollars to talent ratio is far better in the draft than it is in FA. Not to mention age and potential

Yep! Chris Givens is our Mike Wallace Plus. We need Brian Quick to grow into our Anquan Boldin Plus. An army of us would love the Rams to draft Tavon Austin to be our Percy Harvin Plus.

This make anyone else sick to their stomach?

Yep.

People are saying Tavon Austin's pro day was really impressive, top 20. I'm thinking we gotta snag him at 16 and hope someone doesn't trade up for him.

29 NFL teams were at that pro day: the Rams had better been there. Tavon "stayed late to return punts for the 29 teams in attendance."

We got our kicker & punter. We need a return specialist and a jitterbug wideout.

Said it once, i'll say it again. Screw Danny Amendola.
Perdy much. Also #unfollowed him.

i hope he plays 0 games with them just as Torry Holt did with the illegitimate team from foxboro.

and i hope mario williams decapitates him if he EVER does play with the illegitmate team from foxboro

My feelings for Danny are not negative at all. He is trying to maximize money for his play, and his play is high level. The problem, of course, is that he spends more time off the field than on, but even that lost time is influenced by the fact that the Rams have no true #1 WR, who really should be absorbing the the type of shots Danny takes. On a team with better balance on the receiving crew, he might stand a better chance of remaining more healthy than not. Of course, there is also the possibility that his body has already broken down enough that he is simple too fragile now.

It has been a tough situation, which underscores the importance of proper scouting and drafting so as to avoid blowing major dollars on guys unworthy to receive them. A team in salary cap straits can make only so many moves to correct for past poor decisions. Fish will lead us there, but he and Kevin will have to navigate the financial issues with care.

He just always seemed to be all about himself. He signs with the Patriots, and doesn't even say thank you to the Rams or it's fans, he just starts talking about the Patriots like they are the best thing ever.

I personally have never really liked Danny, other than his production when healthy. Kind of glad he's gone. Roster spot clogger in my opinion.

Snead and Fisher came through big time in the Draft!
