Yeah the 70's 80s Rams sure were fun. Mid 70s - 1980 when I was on board we always had a top defense. Always fun to watch the sacks reign down on the enemies. We were always in the playoffs, and talked about. We had a 1000 rusher much of the time. That QB play for more than 2 seasons had eluded us though. There were flashes, but then they were done. Now we have Stafford who has a chance to make an impact for more seasons. Exciting football since 2017. Football is fun again. Before that I was saying "f___ football." I wouldn't acknowledge the whiners or cheatriots.
@den-the-coach would disagree with you. The mid 70's was when his love affair with the play of Pat Haden, fully blossomed..

A great football coach can make a world of difference, but it's also nice that management is on the same page too.
Imo Stan Kroenke deserves a ton of credit, not least for personally meeting with and green lighting the hire of McVay on a raid fire basis. There's also the small matter of moving to LA (after the St. Louis Sports Authority released the Rams from their lease) and then building a state of the art stadium with (gasp) his own money.

Of course we know what McVay and the players have accomplished. Credit also to Snead for outstanding drafts.
