No peaceful feelings for me. I absolutely HATE when the Rams lose to the Seahawks and 49ers. Unless we make it to the playoffs and beat the Seahawks we gotta wait atleast 8 months to beat their asses and make it right.

i dont think its peace - its acceptance.

We all now realize we really aren't that good - so its not worth getting mad about anymore.

We thought we were good two weeks ago so we had expectations....

McVay may not be the new kid in town any more, but even if he fails to take it to the limit, and Sunday finds us drinking our way to a tequila sunrise, on Monday we’ll still be looking for him to lead us in the long run. The NFL is a life in the fast lane, and even after our hopes for this year are already gone, one of these nights in the future, we’ll get our due. So close your lyin’ eyes and join me in a bit of optimism. I can’t tell you why, but I’m confident you’ll feel better if you just take it easy.
well done

So slitting my wrists is a bit premature?....Dang it, I just got over my fear of the Reaper and everything...

This team has given us a lot in the last few seasons, more than most of us imagined.
Playoffs are the minimum I expect.
We've struggled at times this season.
We have an uphill battle from now on.

McVay has given us so much and I expect it to continue.

Get behind Wolford and the team because I think we have a lot of fight left.

I'm still in the same place. Just get in. Don't care if we back in or crawl in or what seed or which matchup we'd draw. It's important to qualify for many reasons.

Any given Sunday applies in the playoffs too.

We have a lot of young key guys who haven't played in a playoff game.

Very nice Star Wars intro.

I would offer a professional tip. Rather than randomly babbling with video in the background, sort your thoughts into clear concise points you want to make and then play the video as support for those points after you make each point.

Otherwise it’s a bunch of disjointed opinions.

Presentation should be clear and very concise.

With the Star Wars intro I was thinking i need to send the video to some friends but when the game video and rambling started i realized it would be a waste of time. People don’t like random long form opinions with no support, they want quick insightful points with proof.

If you are going to take the time to collect all the Wolford video and put a great intro then discipline yourself to organize the body of the content and make it consumable. Otherwise it will get lost in the sea of internet rambling and bad video. With your knowledge of football you can make it great if you organize it in consumable bites that present supportive points people can analyze and discuss.

For example, you say Wolford can make all the throws. Ok let’s see it on video with edited clips after you make that point.

I have a peaceful easy feeling because to me there is no way to go but up. I'm resigned to the fact that with key injuries the Rams chances of advancing in the playoffs are not very good.

That’s a good football watching mindset. :horns:

This team is a trip man. If they get Whit back in similar form to what he was pre-injury and Akers can go the Rams become a tough matchup for anyone.

And I could quote many, but this sums it up. ^

Get in the playoffs.

This defense can be damn good.

Get a spark on offense and build some playoff mojo as underdogs.

See what happens.

Ahh..... Yeah, that’s the peaceful feeling... We have a good football team, it’s playoff time, let’s go fight!

If feels like a no pressure, against all odds , nothing to lose , underdog , and let it all hang out kind of game. I’m kinda looking forward to it , but that could change very quickly come Sunday.
I just hope son and grandsons sake they find a way to get a ticket to the show.

Peaceful?

It’s a bit more like grabbing your favorite old blanket, riddled with holes and a hint of the smell of feet... It’s going home for the holidays knowing your family members will all be there lovingly tearing each other’s hair out and bickering.

It’s disappointment.
It’s pathetic.
It’s a 9 and 7 underperforming season & it’s a 7 and 9 BS overachieving season.
It’s SOSAR and losing to the niners twice in a season.

It’s a place Ram’s fans know all to well. Home sweet home. Snuggle up in that blanket.

I'm peaceful as well. I think it comes down to expectations - after these two losses, I don't really have any, so that makes taking whatever comes much easier now.

So slitting my wrists is a bit premature?....Dang it, I just got over my fear of the Reaper and everything...
I think you meant to post that on the Blue Oyster Cult thread (which would likely be titled “We need more bellcow!”)

Well, having lived thru calendar year 2020... It is fair to say anything is possible. I wouldn't wager on a Foles/Philly like finish, but we've seen crazy things before in the NFL. The dynamics are there for MORE craziness with this Rams team.

Maybe the defense takes it upon themselves to pitch shutouts and win the whole damn thing themselves?

I can think of at least 2 times (this season) where the Rams elevated into the discussion as one of the better teams... i.e. Superbowl worthy. That's very much unlike SOSAR... very much unlike.

So... sure, I am disappointed in the circumstances at this moment.... But, it's a season for a reason. Ours just got a whole lot different than what I thought just 3 weeks ago.

It is what it is. Got to roll with it... and maybe have fun along the way doing so. Some may say, the victory even more sweeter.

Trying to put s positive spin together (it ain’t easy but I’m a Rams homer for life). I am prepared for Wolford, Jefferson, Xavior (the Savior) to step in. If they ball out we found some gems for next year. If we win then what an achievement to close out the regular season. If we lose the Rams have an excuse and could still make it into the playoffs if the Bears lose. The worst ending would be to have Goff, Kupp and Akers but still lose to the Cards to either end the season or back into the playoffs.

Coach McVay has to call plays that Goff has the ability to run. I’m thinking it’s possible that on Sunday there will be plays called that will work to the strengths of Wolford. I watched his college tape and his AAF video. I was impressed, he has a gun for an arm and he can throw on the run. I believe Wolford is going to do well 10 and 6. An unrelated comment...I’m glad the Boobie thread and the bootie thread are usually next to each other.
