I have this exact same problem in my money league. Except it's a superflex so i can play Goff and Watson. Ahhh, good times.

In my other leagues where i have Goff and brees i have informed brees that he will be sitting on the bench for the rest of the season.

Goff or Brees is my predicament. I choose wrong last week. Never again.

so did i but you couldn't sit brees the way he was playing and it was the last week before ingram came back so i thought they would air it out one last time. it happens. now we know that goff is matchup proof. doesn't matter who they face, this offense is gonna get theirs.

for fantasy football I’m starting Goff over Watson and Kupp over Jarvis Landry and Emanuel sanders....am I letting my fandom get in the way or is that the right call?
They're racking up FF points, so it's a safe play.

There's a better chance of Goff not putting up a lot of points because we spend the second half running the ball after jumping out to a 28+ point lead than Seattle shutting Goff down in a relatively close game. JMO.

That is something to consider for sure. On the flip side, McSlay doesn't seem to be the take the foot off the gas type.

I know it's too late but moving forward....

Try and trade Emmanuel Sanders. Both he and Demaryius Thomas aren't reliable FF targets anymore. Robert Woods is an every week starter. As for Jarvis Landry he's an every week starter as well but temper expectations a bit with a rookie QB on the Browns.

Always start the home QB. There isn't much difference between QBs and Deshaun gives the rush yard FF points. The road QB has a increased chance in turnovers or being shut down by the opposing defense. Unless of course matchup dictates. I.e., you are obviously gonna start Jared Goff when he goes against Oakland or something.

For fantasy I think Jared Goff is still a stream per match up type QB. That Thursday night game kinda backs up my view that home teams' stars on Thursday nights usually show up and so far this year it's been true.

I don't play fantasy sports but I have a funny story about it..........

I had a guy working for me that was a huge fantasy player......multiple leagues in football and basketball. He loved it!

One league he was in had an automatic random draft. He got Warner, Faulk and Bruce among others. But those three had him gloating big time.

It was just before the 2002 season. He was miserable LOL.
