Well, congrats on having Watson and Goff at QB. That's a pretty nice predicament to have. I would start Watson over Goff this week, but they are really close. I have funny feeling this is the week that McVay unleashes the Rams running game on a Seahawks defense overplaying the passing game on defense. I don't think Goff will be bad, but he could put up 200 and 2 TDs even in a big Rams win. Watson won't have that luxury. There's a decent chance he leads the Texans in rushing and has to throw 40+ passes against the Cowboys.for fantasy football I’m starting Goff over Watson and Kupp over Jarvis Landry and Emanuel sanders....am I letting my fandom get in the way or is that the right call?
I went too for the other way and played Fitzpatrick over Goff last week.for fantasy football I’m starting Goff over Watson and Kupp over Jarvis Landry and Emanuel sanders....am I letting my fandom get in the way or is that the right call?
So does Watson minus week one this year he puts up big fantasy numbers almost every start ...that’s why it’s so hard and believe it or not that 50 or so rushing yards adds upGoff feels like an every week starter, IMO.
There’s definitely some of that in the back of my head I guess....so many years of being bad I keep expecting us to revert Goff is a good start.
It's hard to adjust to the fact that we actually have a great QB.
I find myself having the same doubts as well. It's just habit I guess.
I started Tom Lady over Goff for the reasons you describe above. I hope I regret it, but whatevs. Lady did OK....and yes, I have Goff and Lady on my fantasy squad. Suckers in my league didn't want Goff even in late rounds..... Das why I'ma win this bitch.... againWell, congrats on having Watson and Goff at QB. That's a pretty nice predicament to have. Those same concerns with Kupp may limit his yardage, but he should be good for his normal 6+ catches with a decent shot at a TD. Landry is going a against a solid Ravens passing defense (he'd still be an OK play, but why not go with your guy?) and Sanders' QB hasn't thrown a TD in almost a month.
