I think that's horse shit. Apparently Deion does too. Why wouldn't you give Alex Smith a podium at the Super Bowl to answer questions? Maybe they didn't want him talking about the QB 'controversy', or maybe they felt he was going to air his dirty laundry? I dunno. But he was (as Deion said) partially responsible for them getting to where they are now.

I have been hard on Alex Smith over the years, but only because he was a 49'er.

Now that he's about to depart; I'm going to root for the guy (assuming he doesn't end up in AZ).

He's made a lot of money over the years, so it's difficult to say he hasn't been treated well... but the news of him not getting a podium is horse crap in my book.

Agreed, the 49ers didn't do him right, it was pretty fucked up honestly. I get it was time to move on, but the way it all happens was just a middle finger for everything that he did do. From the start he never got any respect or help from the organization. I hope whenever he plays them he crushes them.

lol. I don't know what I'll do if we get TWO guys on this board with hard-ons for 49er QBs.

I might burn this shit to the ground to stop the spread of the virus.

Lolololo!

Correction; I have been CRITICAL of Alex Smith!

But, he is cute.

Let me make myself clear here...

He didn't get one because he didn't deserve one.

Fuck Alex Smith

I hear ya on the 49er hatred. Which by the way is beautiful and you should take our resident Kaepernick lover aside and give him some private tutelage, BUT ... what that shitty Organization is doing to him is foul. I don't like him at all either, but it's foul. It would be like if Bradford got hurt and Davis came in and led us to the Superbowl and the Rams refused to give Bradford a podium. That shit's foul, man.

So ... Fuck the 49ers.

If I was ASmith I'd have asked DSanders "How come the NFL Network didn't put you in front of one of those podium to ask questions and instead stuck you out here with me? Are you upset about that?"

But thats just me....

:sly: Ole Alex ain't that quick, man.

Neon got that shitty job because he was a whiner too.

Nobody else wanted to deal with Alex"y".

Remember, it is the Rams that did this to Alex Smith and the 49ers, during their first game in SF. Nothing would give me greater pleasure than to see Kapersnitch collapse in the big game, tank next season, and for Alex to go outside the conference and excel elsewhere.

I can think of a few things of more pleasure, but this is pretty damn good.
