I think the question is, is Decker a better option than the depth the Rams have on the roster or someone else they could poach from another team?

I do agree they made it seem pretty bad. Definitely only her side of the story. Dude needs to just walk away though. And I guess it’s the same woman that was a problem with him last time too.
I have reason to believe that, because the NFL slotted the Rams into seven primetime games. The league wants a super team, and punishing Aleric Jackson would affect the Rams and the NFL TV ratings; it's all about the money. So I think the Rams/Aleric Jackson will wiggle out of this with some backroom deals.
I have to ask what a "superteam" does for the NFL? I feel like the league has been pushing parity forever, which is why it has grown so fast since the introduction of the salary cap.
A superteam is the last thing I want for my team. It makes them the villains of the league and paints a target in their back.

Okay gonna hijack a hijack but during Covid I had a watch party (outdoor theater at mine yada yada distance) for Louise Linton's (Treasury Secretary Steve Minuchin's wife) movie and holly hell is it bad but it's shot so damn well with a lot of house and car porn and a truly unself-aware voice over that cribs right from American Psycho that it plays like absolute camp and was a blast.
Would totally recommend if you've got some good drugs lying around.
3.9/10 rating. I watched the trailer. Just might have to check this one out. Seems really bad in a fun way.

If we look at the current NFL landscape, two men were very recently absolved of their DV issues/accusations. Diggs and a coach from KC(?). Maybe the NFL is taking into account some of these accusations are about monetary gain. Perhaps Alaric doesn't get suspended after all. I'm fairly certain the Rams lawyers, in connection with the NFL front office, will give the Rams a heads up as to which way they're leaning. So rather than convict Alaric based on news reports, I'll wait to see which way the wind blows on his issue.

I don't think anyone is convicting him here (I obviously missed it if they did), but we are all guessing what could happen. I would definitely hope he doesn't get suspended but we'll see. Just sucks that's he's in this position of being in trouble with the same woman again. Thats the most concerning part that its an again issue.
I wasn't insinuating anyone here was convicting him. I was speaking only for myself. But you bring up a good point.
I didn't realize this was the same woman. If in fact she is......and I'm not doubting you.......that changes things in my mind.
Like:
She got over him filming her without her knowledge.....which seems shaky anyway because....."he was supposed to delete it but didn't" and that was what seemed to be her issue. So, in the moment she knew she was being filmed? That sounds like an unreliable witness IMHO. Now she's filming him and instead of making her delete it, he snatches the phone out of her hand. Call me misogynistic if you want (I'm not in reality), but this woman sounds like she enjoys the back and forth that seems to be her and Alaric's relationship. Why do I get the feeling if he cuts ties with her, there would be even more serious accusations headed in his direction.
