I like Jackson for our left tackle. He's been good. The whole line has been good. They have a nice chemistry with each other. And they know how our backs run. But I don't like the potential suspension. If it happens its not likely to be just two games this time. If its 8 games they gotta seriously think about their options.

I wonder if there's been any contact with Taylor Decker's agent? Obviously you don't wanna be paying two left tackles 19-20 million each. But Jackson has no guarantees after this season. If they were to cut him in 2027 the dead cap would be 5 million with a cap savings of 19 million. Which is about the annual salary Decker would want.

I'd prefer to keep Jackson but can we be sure there won't be any more incidents? A 3rd could end up a much longer suspension.
Although I'm not a gambler, I'd be willing to put money on my take. He will not be suspended this year and he will be replaced next.

Just about everything may be available to consume but that doesn't always translate to people understanding and/or appreciating the material. The film Marty (have seen it a number of times ... most recent was about a year or two ago). Still love it but it depicts a time completely unknown to many people.
History is our friend.

I find Not a lot of people know history.
I disagree, they know it, but they choose to ignore it. Many people love to take the Ostridge approach and bury their head into the sand. "The only person who never makes mistakes is the person who never does anything." -- Theodore Roosevelt --

Sadly trying to take away History & distorting parts of it adds to more History . Can WE imagine? Sometimes to much & truth ???

Just to keep it History, records are going to be broken going 17 games in The NFL.Myles Garret might be The Greatest DE in NFL history by Sacks when his career is over.

I think there's a ton of people that fall into both categories ...
Don't Konw and Don't Care ... Know but Don't Care and Ignore

I think you mean Gen Z as most of us are from Generation X (1965-1980. ) Anyway, that is our job is to educate the Millennials and Generation Z, so they understand, those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.

I have been saying that since high school. I didn't know he said it, it was just my excuse.

I always get those confused.

Yeah, I have lived by that quote and this from TR as well. "In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing." --Theodore Roosevelt--

  • Gen Alpha: 2013 – 2025
  • Gen Z: 1997 – 2012
  • Millennials: 1981 – 1996
  • Gen X: 1965 – 1980
  • Baby Boomers: 1946 – 1964
  • Silent Generation: 1925 – 1945
  • Greatest Generation: 1901 – 1924
And how many of us try to convince the chicks they’re Gen-X?

No one?

I know quite a few people over 40 who don’t know jack about history. They aren’t really interested either. I think it’s common for young people of all generations to not be interested in history. Folks tend to educate themselves as they get into their 50’s.

Just my 2 cents
