Very True, however, at least Leveston has played LT at the collegiate level. Arcuri has too at Michigan State, but Arcuri has struggled when given his opportunity, so I believe Leveston can play RT, but having the experience at LT allows him to be another option for the Rams.

Again, I truly hope the Rams sign someone else, but currently Leveston, Arcuri & McClendon is who is available on the roster.

Wills is interesting. Talented player. Has played solid, starting-caliber football in the NFL at LT. But things went to shit in Cleveland, he stopped trying, and made a "business decision" that backfired. On one hand, maybe it was Cleveland. On the other hand, do you risk adding a player who might just phone it in and make "business decisions" whenever he's nicked up?

I held out some hope for him as in preseason, he was okay, but when he received his opportunity in the regular season, it was an epic fail IMHO. On top of that, he cannot play RT. McClendon played LT and was better, but not by much, so now I truly hope the plan is to sign someone like Jedrick Wills because Jackson will need to play every snap otherwise.
Good luck with HOPE might as & love pray about it & keep Faith!

Truth is The Rams are going to roll with what they got. Leveston actually look the part of a swing OT. What I noticed is he has strong(large) hands. He cut his dreads & looks more serious about his appearance for what’s that’s worth ?

He looks bigger & stronger. The dude from Utah. (southern) ? Looks like he belongs more than AJ at this early point.

Well, hopefully unlike Samson Leveston won't lose strength by cutting his hair.;)

Cut his dreads, stopped smoking weed and now only listens to redneck music (blue font)

Seriously, what does cutting your hair have to do with taking football more seriously? He looked good so that’s a shame. Personally, I hope he’s gone big Afro instead. Anything less would be a disappointment:)

I have noted it before in two previous posts, but Arcuri was active in the playoff game against Philadelphia over Noteboom who was listed as inactive. Rams rolled the dice and had Arcuri as the backup in crucial playoff game so maybe it is not so crazy. Maybe he has continued to develop? He had a bad outing in Detroit for sure, but he was thrown in the mix off the bench after Noteboom got hurt (again) and was going up against Hutchinson who is a top tier pass rusher. I still hope the Rams upgrade but maybe over the course of last season they saw enough improvement to have a better comfort level with him. Iron sharpens iron and maybe going against the Rams edge guys in practice has helped him up his game.

I do think LT depth is one of the biggest roster weaknesses right now, but the Rams still have time to fill the void (if it is there). They first can give guys like Arcuri and Leviston a chance to make their case in OTAs and camp and if they do not like what they see then bring in a vet. I know the vet pickings seem slim, but the Rams have proven to have a knack for picking up guys late who can make contributions. The Dotson pickup was barely a blip on most people’s radar, and he has worked out great. Same with Witherspoon. In fact, many of their low-cost vet pickups end up working out better than some of the high-cost signings.

As to Arcuri being active over Noteboom against the Eagles, was that because of an injury? I know he was inactive due to ankle issues previously. Regardless Boom is gone and you make a good point about Arcuri being thrown to the wolves against the Lions, but he was still awful and I understand, it was against Hutchinson, but IMO, it is still no excuse, you have to be ready at all times.

I do believe Leveston was drafted with an eye at RT, but Warren McClendon was also drafted in the 5th round for that role and seem to struggle filling in for Havenstein. In fact, the OL, was not the same when Big Rob was out. So yes depth is a concern along the OL plus all of us expected a draft choice of a swing tackle, but hat pick never happened.

My hope is that the Rams sign someone as I and many have posted, I do not want them going into this season with unproven backups especially at LT. We have seen major issues with Zach Thomas in 2023 on Monday Night against Cincinnati and Arcuri against the Lions. Time to find someone that can play both LT & RT and can also last more than 2 quarters like Noteboom.

Especially being able to take a year off with REGGIE & the trainers. It does wonders & it’s a thing to keep players protected. He was the first on the list (pup).
The Rams didn’t know they were going to have injury issues up front.

You know it's a slow time of year when there's a 3 page thread about AJ Freakin Acuri
Well, it is a slow time of year, but the concern that Arcuri is the backup LT is viable. Obviously have to wait until June to see if the Rams make a move to solidify OL depth, but I am off this week enjoying some down time at the lake house plus partaking in a fine Columbian beverage and pontificating accordingly.

You forgot the mustache!!

Would you know who he was walking down the street ? IMO sometimes it shows maturity or change.

My view is he looks more serious & stronger !! Yours is what it is.I also think he is a player I’ve liked from the beginning with or without his new looks.

He doesn’t standout though like some of the rookie O’Lineman. My take on a players looks is Beaux Limmer. He looks the part as confident & technical .

Kevin is just a STUD for his size. The guy looks in GREAT SHAPE.We already know his intensity.

Avila & Alaric you could call them Double A or AA.The system works, they have such balance together & will give Mattew Stafford a lot of support in hard times.

Big Rob ?? He’s a Vet,but his season are numbered.IMO The Rams will have to keep an extra OT on the roster. There is a lot of time for a Ram Player to Step Up !!

Right now I think The Rams let everything play out & don’t invest much more UpFront. They have an Excellent O’Line coaching Staff. The Rams also give UDRFA such an opportunity to make a NFL roster.
That’s the beauty of it,even for those with (or who) Dredds.

Plenty of time to add to the OL. I'm not worried yet.......
Every year, potential NFL talent is released at cut down time. We have some really good scouts. I trust they'll find somebody to bolster our offensive tackle position. Probably one to develop and one with experience. I remember when we used to have so many holes in our team we looked like a Green Bay Packers cheese hat. Now we're only a little light at shut down corner and swing tackle. Excellent place to be.
