$23,049,000 for Offensive Line

Without a new deal Alaric Jackson could potentially take up quite a bit of the 2025 cap space if they plan to keep him.
The numbers in their chart don’t add up. $25 million at LB when the highest paid LB in the entire league is at $20 mil? The average of the top 5 would be around $16.5.

I suppose I could look at other positions but you’re also not accounting for the 120% rule.

No way is AJ seeing even close to that figure.

He was a FA last year and got $5M. He started 2024 suspended.

You believe he did enough in 14 games to shift opinions that much?
His potential earnings has more to do with a lack of other FA LT options for teams.
Jackson is solid to me.
Certainly not bad but not great either.

If he is going to get $25M (I don't think he would either) Id let him walk.

Agreed, we're screwed without him so we'll have to OVERpay him.

We'd be lucky to keep him IMO
This is not the proper mindset for beginning negotiations.

Agreed! This is my mindset as just a fan, with no influence or sway.

The Rams FO needs to project just the opposite... "we can sign a vet or draft a replacement if necessary.."

Yeah - WTF were The Rams thinking. Why they didn’t lock him up to a 3 year contract last season, along with Hoecht,Whiterspoon. They all out played there contracts & deserved to have gotten paid. I’ll continue to say that .

I have no idea what’s next? Leveston is a player imo could really develop well. Not saying he is the answer at all, just that he should add nice depth upfront.

Dotson was underwhelming in Pittsburgh. Became a starter week 4 in 2023. He played well enough to get a nice 3 year $48 million deal with the Rams. Seems like 14 games is plenty enough to convince someone for a big payday.

Jackson is important, but nobody is paying him that on the open market.
Just in my neck of the wood (New England) loves Jackson and project to him to be paid 25M per year. So Patriot insiders are reporting that the Patriots are going after Jackson if he makes the open market and projecting to pay him at least 25M
