As a woman myself, I'd rather spend time with a significant other than watch a football game if I was on a honeymoon. Worst comes to worst, you can always DVR the thing. A honeymoon is something that you can't get back, and if she's the one, then spend it with her. Sundays can be your day after that.

One of my best buddies was getting married in Denver 20 or so years ago, I was one of the groomsmen.
Did the wedding thing fine, the Rams were playing a pre season game vs the Broncos that same evening. So, I knew the game would be on the local tv in Denver. I tried to slip out to catch a couple minutes of the game while the reception was starting. I came back in to see everyone sitting at the table with the groomsmen and bridesmaids up in front of the room....one empty seat, mine.
The best man was just starting his toast. The whole room turned and looked at me as I closed the door behind me....he said, "There he is!! Now, I bet there is NO WAY John would try to slip out of his best buddies wedding to go watch the Rams....no way anyone would be that daft, right?"
Yeah,
ignore the game my dude. One wedding, plenty of Rams games.

My advice is to ignore the Rams, the NFL, and everything but your new wife or you will be reminded of it for years to come. "Remember what you did on our honeymoon....blah...blah....blah?"

Btw I can't believe you're even suggesting doing this unless your new wife is a Rams fanatic as well...and even then.
I believe this is what we refer to as "Sage like advice".

a bunch of terrible advice here.

you need to establish the groundwork right out of the gate. Sunday is your day to watch football. You have 30 odd weeks to share your Sundays during the rest of the year.

Uh huh.

You decided to get married during football season?
Well, you made your choice, when you set the date. The bye week, would have been a perfect weekend for a romantic getaway.;)
I actually planned this for May. The Bachelor in Paradise decided to rrnt out our resort so I our date moved.

Set the dvr and watch the game when you return home! 41 years and counting! Prioritize when you get back home in the future.

Yeah, slippery slope trying to catch the game on your honeymoon. DVR it, avoid TV that weekend, watch it when you get home just like it hadn't happened yet. You will be in Mexico so if the temptation just gets the better of you, claim a rumbling stomach and go get an update on the porcelain altar. From a Rams fan that doesn't like to know the score of a DVR'd game, doesn't like to miss a play of the game, and watches a majority of Rams games via DVR, it can be done. YOU CAN DO IT! (All night long) You just can't come here until after you have watched it. Congrats on your upcoming wedding! Enjoy your honeymoon. And take the advice given here. She will remember you wanting to watch football on your honeymoon for the rest of her life. It will always be in the back of her mind that maybe, just maybe, your love of football is more important to you than your love for her. That's how they are wired. That's how they think. That's how long of a memory they have when it comes to you.

Well it sounds like your best chance, is to make it sound like it is HER idea to go watch the game.

Dude. The other factor is.....

Warm beach and sexy times.

Or cold ass Minn weather?

Is she that much of a fan yet?

Regardless, you votes a 10 on the liking of pussy. You have your answer.

Just make it part of the day. Watch the game then take her shopping in town.

Mark me down for a solid 10 on this one @LesBaker .

I know that's true!!!

@Dodgersrf said it best.......the bye week was there.......plus the entire off season.

I've met your totally hot soon to be wife :yess: ..........I'd skip the Rams unless you have her written consent to watch them. It's the smart move.

Ignore @Selassie I advice, she may see through the ruse and then you'll be relying on internet porn for the remainder of the year.

Not that there's anything wrong with that!

Congratulations @BigRamFan I hope you're both going to be happy and blessed in your life together.

Firstly, i take it she knows the game is on? Has she mentioned it?
Secondly, getting married is a life commitment, be true to each other and all will be well, mention to her in passing that the game is on and it would be fun to watch as a married couple... if she scowls, laugh it off as a joke
Thirdly, can you get it on a TV in your bedroom??
Finally - we won last week - can we do a back to back win ;)
