After a work trip I don’t want to be asked about retirement also.

These players are always negotiating. It’s business. I respect that. It is a responsibility one should feel for their family.

I tell Donald to check in during OTAs for a day or two, but otherwise we don't need to see you until camp starts in August.

Agree.
He has a very high cap number in 2022. An extension should reduce it significantly in the short term.
Extend and offer more guaranteed money. OTC says be has no more guaranteed money on his current deal. So fix that, lower his cap number, and extend him.

That didn't sound like an unequivocal no, either though. He said he's blessed, never a guarantee, he never said that out of his mouth, and he's living in the moment. That leaves a lot of room for a lot of options on how that rumor started immediately following an interview.
These days, rumors start every time some pecker wad posts something on the internet. Doesn't matter if he/she is a nobody or not people still run with it.

Eh, I think Aaron ultimately comes back, but there's a reason he keeps saying he's living in the moment. If the guy wasn't thinking on it, he'd say that he's coming back. I think AD has reached an age where he's going to consider retirement each off-season. Whitworth did the same and still played another decade. I doubt AD plays that long, but I do think he ultimately decides to come back next year.

The window is still open to win another title. I doubt AD walks away from that opportunity.

That man knew what he was doing, stirring up some drama either twisting words or making shit up out of thin air.

Just like a Cheatriot.

Fuckin' media... always looking to drum up something. I'm just happy to see AD celebrating.
