I'd hate to see that as much as you.
And regarding this threads topic, yes, next year is gonna be terribly competitive to win the division, and at this point in time from what I've seen and what I know ... It'll be the team with the least amount of major injuries that wins the division.
If the stupid niners don't have any major injuries next season, I don't think we will have a better record than them. It's very saddening to say but, it's what I'm thinking will happen. I'm not like some here who blindly say we're gonna trounce everyone next season, all we need is an O-line, etc.
I say it how I see it, even if it's not a good outcome for my Rams.

Now there's a possibility the Seahawks could take a small step back next year. I'm kinda feeling that RW will start to slow down a little bit. He's the only thing that keeps them winning so often.

I am not gleeful of considering any 9ers as a future Ram consideration, but I have posted this several times over the last month.....I see the 9ers present starting UFA center 32 yr old center/OG Ben Garland as a good fit with Kromer's OL concerns.
Garland was Richburg's back up & has excelled since being inserted in between two other journeyman former WWC OG's Person & Tomlinson. Garland formally with the Falcons for numerous seasons. The 32 yr old Garland has starting experience @ all three interior OL posts. Blended in with our youthful interior OL'ers ......Brian Allen, Coleman Shelton, David Edwards, Austin Corbett & Nate Trewyn might be a good mixture.

Let's see what the 49ers do in the SB before crowning them as perennial winners. If they lose they will have the hangover like everyone else and they will have trouble.
The really bad news though is that they have proved this year that Garopollo is good and the Shannahan is an excellent coach.
Damn even the Cardinals are becoming a darkhorse, Murray seems to have good potential and Kingsbury might actually be a good coach.
Nothing more exciting than playing in a high level division : 6 actual rivalry games per season.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Seahawks finished last in the division next year.

It would be way more exciting NOT to play in a tough division. That would actually be awesome for once.

The Rams always play well in the division. I'm not worried. I think Seattle will be less lucky next year, and the Rams and the 49ers will battle it out. Probably split the 2 games, and both will be in the playoffs. That's what I'm hoping for anyway. lol
