I too hope this is not health related.

Well everyone wanted the OL addressed, well I guess it just did. Maybe the issue with the OL wasn't the players and this is the upgrade? Before i get blasted keep in mind I have no idea or opinion and am just speculating. But I must say that new guy Stafford has be a little giddy.

My believe after seeing more about Aaron Kromer & a few articles. My conspiracy theory is that as CGI says The Rams just are hiring a New Assistant or Offensive Line coach from The NJ/NY Giants.

Matthew Stafford gets a New Life & plays on grass as his age. Talk about a Dome QB as well.He gets an open air Dome with sunshine.

Yes, she's awesome. Always enjoyed her content behind the scenes with the Rams or interviews.

Thanks for the insight. Never even knew.I’d say though if I was at the beach & a couple of Freaking kids
messing & dis respecting my daughter or wife.I’d have a issue.

Just saying it is all how you picture scenarios. I like The change though.

Does anyone know if Aaron Kromers contract was up ? Wade & Bones both got walking papers. Those changes needed to be made & even if Bogo is not the special teams coach. That squad learned & will continue to learn more than without him.

This GAY guy is pretty good.

I think we're just making radical changes to our offensive scheme and Kromer didn't fit the bill for that sadly.

I think you may be on to something, though we don't know yet.

This is a very interesting development. Not an immediate firing after the season. Maybe Kromer will be an immediate hire by another team that hasn't become public yet. In any event, he likely won't be unemployed for long.

But more likely it appears to be a breakdown over personnel or strategy moving forward between McVay and Kromer. Something that developed only after discussion about the best path forward, and then a serious disagreement. Otherwise, McVay's practice has been to let coaches go immediately after the season so they can find other jobs.

It could suggest that McVay is focused on the need to improve the offensive line to better fit a revamped offensive scheme and wants go in a different direction than Kromer. But maybe McVay wants to stand pat and Kromer isn't happy. Or maybe it's about whether or not to bring back players such as Blythe and Whitworth.

It will be very, very interesting to get some reporting from the inside about what the hell is going on here.

I think your right on point, but it’s Sean Mcvay always pushing the envelope to Be The BEST. I like that CGI Ram post.

Not sure if his contract was up or not. I know Wade and Fassel both had expiring contracts I thought.

Overall he had a few good OLs but it feels when it was with inherited veterans and established veterans. Not sure how much better our young guys have gotten.

I believe it has been night & day.

Bonifay is The O”Line guru around here.He has always been a believer of
rotating Offensive Lineman.—- Me I’ve been with Kromer’s tradition.

Whitworth practices only how many days a week? Sullivan was the same.
Anyways going to start a New thread.

Andy Dickerson is gone .Then Waldron is the SeaHags OC.

So I think this thread can be about Aaron Kromer & why he is no longer the Offensive Lineman & has left the team.
Once I get going though it’s hard to stop. Mcvay has lost his OC every season.Waldron held that spot though with Kromer.
O’Connell is The first OC brought back with Sean Mcvay as the OC.

—Kromer & Waldron both really needed to go for growth.Mcvay needs a New start upfront. I like Zak Kromer. Will see what role he will play in 2021 without his father.Just like when Wade left Wes stayed. He also might be deserving of being more apart of the game planning without Kromers influence.

I can't disagree with any of this. I think McVay is looking for fresh eyes and minds. I feel like McVay is ready and maybe had been ready to evolve the offense but was limited it held back with what we had.

Nothing against what we had, but they seem more line traditionalists

Well, McVay coaches normally advance in their careers when they leave us (if they were hired by McVay). I am optomistic that he can find replacements that are up and coming coaches who will do well. He is really the OC and HC simultaneously anyway and Morris will be a strng DC from all accounts that I have heard, so the ship will be fully manned by competant coaching before 2021 starts...

The move itself isnt that surprising to me, I didnt think he was great and didnt think he was bad either.
What is surprising, and a bit disturbing, is the timing of the move. Why now? It's been weeks since teams made their fires/hires

Does this mean they are moving away from a ZBS? Do they even have the right personnel??

Not sure, rumor was they interviewed Giants Assistant OL Coach Ben Wilkerson, if they did indeed interview him for the now vacant OL Coach, then I don't believe they will move away from the ZBS because Wilkerson coached under Kromer in Chicago.

Actually this report states they were interviewing Wilkerson for the vacant Assistant OL Coach Position, maybe they were adding a title to it, but now with Kromer gone, he might not be on their list.

The New York Daily News first reported the move, along with the news that Giants assistant offensive line coach Ben Wilkerson recently interviewed with the Rams for the team’s vacant assistant offensive line position, and the Rams were also looking for a new offensive line coach to replace Kromer.

Aaron Kromer was more than just a Offensive Line coach. I’ve seen Zak Kromer run drills & coach one on one.
He has he

Your free to have your own movie rights as well. Can’t wait to go to the theater again.

With it happening so often maybe when a coach doesn't get a promotion from another team McVay just assumes they suck now and replaces them himself.

Either way, I wasn't expecting this but I'm not freaking out about it. Now I'm very curious what McVay is doing to his offense in the offseason. He's obviously got a new vision of what he wants to do and that's exciting because the last two years have not made the cut for his standards.

go look at CGI RMs post. The Rams are bringing in a New OLine coach from Giants.I think it might be McVays train of thought. I have a Texas Ram picture in mind, but waiting for it to come out.
Nothing like Free Speech.I’m afraid of coping rights.A hint is The DEPTH of The Rams Offensive Line.

D-coach either way if Ben Wilkerson is being brought in it could mean a change of Philosophy. I like the idea
of this.
