I would usually use the edit feature to accomplish this, first posting the link, then go back to copy the article, then hit edit, then paste.
I know i've been forgetting some links lately, ... i'll endeavor to improve upon that.

Copy and paste from the article, correct formatting, add link to the bottom, and you're good to go.
