Deacon Jones turned me into a Rams fan. He was the best DE I have ever seen. But the feeling I have today of the Rams crushing me is one that I have felt so many times before. I think the Rams begin believing the talking heads who say they are the best team in the NFL. I hope this loss is a wakeup call, but I am not confident.

Thanks ramsondemand for letting me vent.

It’s a disappointing loss but every good team in the NFL loses games to supposedly “inferior” teams. The Eagles have some bad losses this year, the Broncos squeaked passed the Commodes on Sunday. It’s any given Sunday in the NFL, that’s what makes this sport so great.

We’ll bounce back, don’t worry too much about it.

I hope you are right. Our defense really needs to pick it up.

Last Superbowl run, the Cardinals gave us our first loss of the year. Completely whooped us. They were hot, but so were we. This game feels similar. If we play the Panthers 100 times, we'd win 90 of them.
This right here.

That was a flukey game. Can we be better, of course, and we will.

Sometimes you do need to lose a game like this late....better now than in Jan.

Shula got caught sleeping on those 4th downs. He prioritized stopping the short pass and got burnt twice deep. At least we know he’s smart and can adapt. I’m sure him and Pleasant will adjust and be on the DBs ass in practice going forward.

I'm no expert - and have no stats - but it feels like going to the east coast for an early game, this team is often not quite awake that early.... for a 10:00 PST contest....

Yeah, he really let the Panthers get away with murder on those 4th down calls. If he wants a head coaching job soon, he needs to get this fixed.

I will always be a Rams fan, but these loses just ruin my entire week.

I still remember the Rams beating the Super Bowl Champion Cowgirls one year when the Rams went 2-14 lol.

That was the only game I liked that year. It was a horrible year otherwise.

I gave a Cowgirl fan so much shit that one year. He kept saying but we won the Superbowl and I would respond but you lost to a 2-14 Ram team. He had no comeback to that lol.

Perhaps yesterday's defensive struggles will indeed work against Shula's head coaching ambitions. However, 'ruining your entire week' will simply Not Be Tolerated! ... Consider yourself warned Chris Shula ...

No fan gets it their way all the time. Rams fans got shit on hard during the 90s, but we've actually done pretty damn well compared to a lot of orgs. Last title win wasn't too long ago and we have a legit shot for another in the upcoming playoffs. So I'm not gonna complain on that front as I don't want to act like some of the fan bases I detest.

That said I think there's truth in saying the Rams under McVay seem to shit the bed every time they are the media darling. But in the end it comes down to the players executing, and this team may have the pieces you need to win that top seed.

If not, then we're still in better shape than most though. Because McVay teams are extremely potent in the playoffs.

I'm better now. Listened to Christmas music all day, staying far away from sports talk. Ours was not the only upset this weekend. And now I see many polls are showing the Putriots rated number one? PLEASE! I would love to slam them in the Super Bowl. Revenge would be sweet.
