And in no particular order...

Why do they schedule International games? Especially in multiple time zones away? And ESPECIALLY for teams traveling from West coast to London? Insane.

How the heck can they call a London or a Mexico City game a “home” game for an LA based team? Isn’t this the 3rd straight year that the Rams have been screwed in this way? What about OUR season ticket fans?

Thursday night games are just wrong on multiple levels. Not enough time for players to recover. Not enough time for coaches to really prepare. And for the poor team on one coast to be further hobbled by a cross country flight? C’mon...

Another thing about TNF is that they must schedule all teams. That guarantees some sucky matchups. Not good for TV or the fans, either. Terminate TNF games.

Why have 4 preseason games? Why not 2 Preseason games followed by 18 regular season games?

Why have only 46 actives on game day? The explanations have sounded like BS to me.

WTH were both sides thinking in the CBA when they limited practices and coaching so much? Hurts everybody.

Why aren’t all byes scheduled within weeks 6-11? So what if we have a couple less games then? We’d have a couple more in weeks 4-5 and 12. And besides, all fans would appreciate their favorite teams getting more benefit from the better timed byes. Seems like a no brainer to me.

Some of today’s rules are too difficult and subjective for refs to fairly call and enforce. Simplify or eliminate them! Helluva note when AD has to worry whether he should sack a QB, don’t you think? Too many rules can spoil this wonderful game.

Okay, what did I miss?

The Panthers and Redskins had byes this week. Week four. There's thirteen weeks left in the season. Ouch.

Agree with the TNF games tho.

Why don't they just have a week in the middle where no one plays. An all-star break without all-star crap.

Honestly, I like the Thursday games. A week is just too long to wait for more football imo. Outside of the first one, the other Thursday games have been good so far, and it allows more teams a chance to get national attention.

We have to do the international games as part of the deal to move back to LA. I wish it would count as an away game personally but it's not possible without screwing up another team.

Honestly, I like the four preseason games. There's not enough love snaps to evaluate rookies, depth and roster battles (especially qb) in two games.

If you think about it, the Mexico game cost the Rams fans a home game. No chance to see maybe the top game of the year.

They could have enough snaps to evaluate players if they had a proper development league.

I honestly believe that fans would lose their minds and start looting and pillaging.

Internet comments formed this opinion, btw.

As has been said, the TNF games would be better and more fair with teams having a bye week prior.

Agreed

Don’t abuse players but give them time to craft quality play.

It's about money.

I don't like TNF when the Rams have to play. Other than that it's nice to have a game on Thurs. Night.

Rams paying the penalty to move to LA by playing international games. It's almost over.

I liked defensive games like the Rams use to play. The rules have made the game a track meet. I noticed a little more hand fighting in the secondary without pass interference calls. Makes sense. I don't know why the NFL thinks offensive track meets are more entertaining.

The preseason is fine to see young players. Regular season 18 games too long. Should increase game day roster size.

Well, that was the problem. HCs started questioning any player who didn’t show up for voluntary workouts. For everyone other than superstars, they weren’t voluntary...guys had to be in the facility basically all the time if the HC was a grinder as most are.

I’m happy for any game the Rams don’t play on that piece of crap field.

I like defensive football also....the tension just grows through out the game waiting for the few and far between scores....

Wasn't that part of the NFL's deal with Stan to move the team? That he had to "donate" home games played internationally?

How would that work with the current format? TNF games would have to be more exclusive instead of every team scheduled or a Thursday.

Yeah I think a 18 game season would be a bit too much as well. Teams lose enough players during the 16 games they already play.

Make pre-season 3 games. 4 is too much IMO.

Preseason games are a profit center. Only way they get reduced is as part of an agreement with the players to switch to an 18 game regular season.

So teams have their bye week week one, week two etc? Doesn’t seem like it would work.
