Against the Cincinnati Bengals on September 24th, 1984. I was at that game in attendance my first Ram game ever seeing it live being in the Air Force at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton Ohio. Believe me he only had to run like 40 yards and it seemed like it took an eternity.

Rams won that game 24-14, Jeff Kemp's first start filling in for an injured Vince Ferragamo, who was lost for the season.

Mike Martz could not stand Joe Germaine, he disliked Germaine so much, when Jamie Martin was with the Rams he asked Martin to change his number from 9 because the number 9 reminded him of Joe Germaine.
