.

Let's hope it's only a sprain. And it doesn't keep him out longer than 6 weeks.

McCutcheon is 6'2" runs a 4.57 which is pretty fast for a man his size. He has good hands and makes contested catches. What dropped him in the draft is he's very limited in his route running, he's going to need time to develop. He is a good backup to Robinson and could take snaps away from Skowronek because he's faster and has better hands.

Another game like this and he makes the 53 roster.

He is not taking snaps away from Ben Sko.

Ben Sko is so far away from Cutch in just his rookie season a lone.

You say he needs to development & then you say one more preseason game like last night(Chargers).

I still say if you want a route runner JJ Koski is the better player. He has to get by Koski first.

Ben Sko passed JJ & has Greg Olson working with him individually one on one after practices.

What other Ram player gets that kind of attention with a position coach. Oh Cooper Kupp & Zac Robinson.

I just see the work to detail that is being put in.I know it’s just playing catch, but they want it to become 2nd nature. —Ben Sko is going to be much improved.

These are the things that are unseen to the general public unless you scout them out yourself.

You won’t see Sko in the preseason at all.

Well it sort of sucks for Bobby Brown because of the experience factor & playing hurt. I wonder if The Rams push him so he knows what it means to play hurt & check his toughness?
The only reason is he already has 4 weeks off to start the season & The Rams still have time after that if needed ?
BTW - Greg Freaking Gaines showed such toughness last season playing DT against the 9ers with a broken wrist. WOW —
Greg Freaking Gaines even looks that much better coming into 2022. He has leaned down & quicker. Funny Hoecht is behind Johan Williams at DT. I think certain players get overlooked.

Just to add Whitley & D. Hardy looked alright as DE/ OLB ? They were gettin a little pressure on the ball.
E. Brown is hungry & going to be tough to keep off the roster. He is going to make the team because of his special teams play. Same as some of the players that showed up last night. —Adding Cutch because of his size & speed.

Our backup RB's look very pedestrian, very little juice. Bruss is wearing Herc's number.

What impressed me about the kid was his ability to make catches in a crowd. A guy like that should be able to make a team. All he needs is good coaching to improve the route running. Wouldn't hurt him if he could play well on special teams.

McCutcheon was a nice surprise last night. If he continues a steady impressive pace in the next 2 games he may beat out Skow for #4 (or #5 after Tutu). I hear Skow also looked pretty good in camp so whoever earns the spot fine with me.

What about if McCutcheon is so good, he beats out Harris?

Just think about how physical the Rams WRs would be... go 4 out with Kupp, Robinson, Skow and McCutcheon? You could run it out of that set with any of those guys moving into the formation.

I know I'm way too excited about McCutcheon today.. but he was, apparently, a late bloomer in college. The size, speed, long arms, strength and hands are just all NFL level.

I wasn't counting Harris but yeah I see where you're going there. Harris has been a disappointment for all of us because of the various injuries. Dude's got the tools but dang it hasn't been good for him staying on the field. If he turns that around, great. Positive is it looks like we have some young gems at backup WR where if any of them stick it's a plus. McCutcheon just snuck himself in based on what we all saw last night.

I hope Van was watching McCutcheon last night. Cutch came back to the ball to draw interference, Cutch out physicalled the DB even though there was obvious PI on both TD catches, Cutch high pointed and won jump balls. This is what Van needs to do to take that next step.

McCutcheon will have to produce big on special teams, imo...
He's not a freak like Harris... but plenty athletic. I mean.. if I told you after the game last night that McCutcheon was drafted in the second round, would you have any reason to doubt it?
Again, I'm wayyyyy to excited about Lance today... but he literally looked like a man among boys.

1) yeah, McCutcheon just made an nfl roster. If he doesn’t play another down and the Rams cut him, SOMEONE will call him.
Not every team has a WR room like the Rams. Not every team has a championship roster.

2) Anchrum was impressive at guard, played well at LT. He could be a mauler for the run game.

3) are we really not gonna see Wolford, KW, or Atwell? They could all use some reps, IMO.

4) BB3 moves pretty good for such a big guy. Gonna need him this year.

BB3 is a legit NFL athlete. Imo.. the only space between him and kicking ass on an NFL field consistently is between his ears. Seems like a nice kid, maybe a little goofy and immature.. he's very, VERY young... only 22. It's easy to see him make some plays this year and really be ready to go in 23. Definitely leaner than last year.
Massive and moves well.. may end up being a huge steal.
