Josh Reynolds is no dud.
He has great talent - he just suffers from having 3 phenomenal WR's in front of him. It's a shame he doesn't get his touches, but he is a great insurance policy for us.
They were reaching for dud material in that game.

Havenstein had his hands full and they were better off with at least one tight end out there.

Rapp is such a weapon to have in a league that has a lot of good receiving TEs and RBs involved in the passing game. Using him to be the safety of the underneath routes with Weddle commanding the defense from behind with Johnson being the playmaker is going to be such an awesome 1-2-3 punch this season. Hopefully Weddle can play a few more years. Add in Peters and Talib virtually locking down the outside, Littleton roaming for the ball, and AD up the middle. Our offense might be the second best unit on this team by the end of the season.

Thought the safety play from Weddle, Johnson and Rapp was outstanding. No scheme breakdowns and lots of tackles. Less visibly the corners didn’t give up much of anything. Of course pressure from the front helps everything on the back end.

Imo the D is already showing as more coherent and effective than last year.
Remarkable how the Ram trio of safeties all shine when Marqui Christian is not one of the three.

I saw an outstanding burst from #32 all afternoon. We are so lucky to have signed this old veteran Eric Weddle!

Nomadic Ranging Rapp had to be a top Wade desired selection before the draft. This defender is a perfect fit in his system. Wade is sleeping well these days in his advanced age. Eureka there's GOLD on the Range in the City of Angels!
