He was getting torched when he left

Torched here and there but it was not like it was on a regular basis.
A player like Ramsey getting beat is more in his head than physical . He still has enough physical tools to get the job done if his head is in the right place.

I agree. I'd also ask, which CBs don't occasionally get torched?

There's gotta be a better measurement than someone's subjective "I saw him get torched!" And?

That's why the saying "cornerbacks need a short memory" came about.

Ramsey was physical as a CB, which is why he was coveted.

And RAMSsey, has Rams in his name.

I think it’s a great selection, in a great spot, for a solid team, with a great staff.

I believe in everything that this franchise has become over the last 10 years. Sure, we miss on prospects and players, but McVay and Snead have been the best thing that ever happened to this franchise.

I agree with Merlin on this one. I do think that he has the opportunity to be an impact player immediately, but it may take a little time as well. The instincts he has paired with being light on his feet, allow him to make sure tackles. You can also see the IQ of a player based upon his routes he takes to ball carriers, and how he allows himself to read a play that develops. Paul does this well.

In my eyes, I feel like his biggest challenge will be to take on massive guards in the run game. But I also think that Spights will be atop the depth chart, and on the field for first down. I see a rangey, quick, instinctive linebacker that reminds me a little bit of Alec Ogletree.

I too, I’m excited to see this room develop.

He doesn't miss tackles like Ogletree.

initially i thought, i remember him not being the ramsey we traded for.. in fact far from it...

so as i scrolled down the thread, one post stated something like...

"who do we have right now on the roster that is better?"

um... maybe no one...

however the price would definitely skew my choice, to bring him on, one way or the other...

The Horns have to first feed Forbes intravenously until he actually looks like a primetime NFL starting CB. Scarecrows won't get the job done against some of the beefy WRs, TEs, & RBs he will face.

He was up to 180lbs last year before release from skins. Would imagine an offseason with rams
trainer will get him where he needs to be weight wise.
Just not sure what the issue is. He said Rams coaches said he needs to play with more confidence.
Whatever it is I hope Rams can find a way to get him to play to his potential. would be huge for
a CB room that needs it badly.

Just drafted and already a favorite player at ROD

It's that time of year for High Hopes. every fans team is undefeated and
has super high hopes for their draft picks. Though I have heard that
some fans have a better chance that their GM Freakin nailed the draft than others.
That and when is the last time the Rams had speed at ILB

So until proven wrong let the hype of the 5th RD STEAL ROLL!
