Gave up a lot - future 4th + 195. They must really, really like this kid. If they love & want a guy - that’s all I need. I think in a couple years, we’re gonna love this guy and teams wishing they got him instead.

What is his weight? He’s listed at 300 pounds but I’m guessing that is wrong. If not, he needs to add 20 pounds to survive against NFL guards
He'll be in the rotation putting out high intensity reps when he is on the field. That's the nice thing about a deep DL rotation is dudes can play hard and not run out of gas in the 4th quarter. Because usually vs a top back as you get tired he's gonna smell blood in the water.

This was definitely a need. Bobby Brown gone, Gallimore gone, we needed to add a young player along with adding a vet like Poona. This may end up being our best pick in the draft

I do love the relentless, nasty players this line has. The defensive line culture all started with Verse. I think McSnead was too comfortable having a one man wrecking crew in AD99. Now they’re seeing the potential of a good line

Nice job by the Rams taking advantage of RB and DL depth the past two picks. Hope they end up with a corner who is worth a shot in the remaining picks.

I guess we are never going to draft a LB and we just have to accept that.
Have faith in Les' scouting corps. Our undrafted FA's sometimes turn out to be as good (or better!) than the drafted rookies. (See starting ILB, Omar Speights, selected in 2024 draft.)

No doubt. Was bummed when I saw Cam Jackson get picked, but this kid looks better & probably stronger.
Ty, Stewart, Paul... getting better faster and stronger up the middle. Love it!! This Dline is gonna be lit!

Can't recall the situations in the regular season game, but in the playoff game, didn't his 2 long runs and Hurts TD run all go outside the Tackle box? I know on the TD run that went to the left, the "B" gap was filled and then Barkley bounced outside. So, to me it was more of an issue of outside containment ; no Linebackers or Safeties around to make a play.
Fortifying the area between the Tackles is great, but I'm not sure it was the problem against the Eagles

Ever read those "what if" comics from Marvel? What if AD was still playing with these dudes we got now?

Because we had no speed at LB. And poor tackling. I believe one guy was in position and just whiffed on at least one of those big runs.

I have said "what if" the Rams had focused on putting studs around Donald while he was here? They always took mid rounders like Gaines, Day, etc... and let Donald do all the work.

One of his best years was when we added Suh. Then he got Miller for about 6 or 7 games and we won a SB. Too bad we didn't keep doing that so it would have been harder for teams double and triple him.
