Corum looks like a less shifty version of Williams to me.
Stafford has been terrible with the deep ball.
Agreed. Colum is essentially a Kyren clone, with less vision. The point of drafting him was to limit wear and tear on Kyren and provide a near duplicate if he did get injured.

It wasn't because he's a change of pace. They could use a dynamic, homerun hitting RB.

I find Corum, albeit in his limited snaps to judge by so far, to be a tougher runner than Williams and to hit the hole faster. But he doesn't have the same vision, and isn't as good at making guys miss with elite footwork. Very similar RBs, but I do think they offer a bit of variety.

Disagree. I think the difference is we lost our explosive players and did not replace them.

We don’t have Cooks, or Watkins to stretch the field.

We don’t have Gurley.

We don’t have Odell.

We have a bunch of lunch pail players.

Puka and Kupp are great. We need a field stretcher with size so Stafford will actually target him.

No offense to Kyren, but he’s limited. I’d like to see Corum get more touches, but we could use some speed if Corum isn’t it at the RB position

Tutu has been very effective in his limited playing time. I think his speed has caused problems for defenses and he often gets a catch or draws DPI.

That and unfortunately, the dolphins are much better with Tua starting that without. Hopefully we're back to 5-5 if we can beat the cheaters, which we should.

Facts. As much as I love McVay, after defenses caught up to his initial scheme, we haven't been able to score the same way since. Of course there are other factors involved like the salary cap and offensive line investments/mistakes, but still...
Its safe to say McVay has lost the Genius label. He can’t formulate a diverse running game. He can’t involve the Tight Ends in the offense. He can’t call an efficient red zone play. It can’t all be blamed on the OLine . 4 out of the past 6 seasons this team has had an average or below average offense (2019, 2020, 2022, 2024). 2023 was really bad until about Week 11. Lets see if it happens again. The defense has been better than the offense in his tenure overall. He is a great communicator and players coach but play design and overall play calling/situational football decisions needs a hard reset.

He sort of chokes under pressure at times. Sean Mcvay asked a lot of him at times in Stafford. He was quick to criticize Goff as well.

I wonder how long Goff will play ?How his career ends ? He might win a Super Bowl in Detroit.

IMO both The Rams & Lions both might have beat KC.Still there unbeaten now,SO how tough is there team.Rams play Bills & Philly at Home. Then finish this season with Cards & Hags.
Can The Rams make the Playoffs? At Saints,Philly,(h), then niners Jets away. I see 1-3 ?

Goff is playing at a high enough level he can likely play as long as he wants to.

Thanks to The Rams & Holmes he has The Best RT in The NFL.Of course they had to resign him to a Big Contract. He is blessed with protection for 4 more years.
-His $200 million contract vs his $100 million looks like a bargain now when the Rams had Goff.

IMO he has always been the more accurate passer. Mathew Stafford does bring that IT FACTOR! He won The Rams a Superbowl which is the Ultimate. He also is working his way into The HOF,SO if he can continue to win it only helps & adds to it all.

Penei Sewell was NOT drafted with one of the picks Detroit acquired in the Stafford trade.
they sure got a boat load for him though. Gibbs,LaPorta,J. Williams,J.Pascal,B.Martin,Ifeatu.
Plus Goff
