I think the hatred amongst the fan base resides in the annual pilgrimage to the bandwagon. You know, when the "fans" turn in their 49er jerseys and proclaim to be fans of whoever.. Magically there becomes a rise in "fanhood" in the Silicon Valley of teams like the Chiefs, Patriots, Cowboys etc... They're not a united fan base because they are a minute away from choosing someone else
I'm afraid they're gonna destroy Houston. Matchup-wise they're just a much better team and they are in dire need of this win.
This next week will be very interesting for us. In a way it's almost better for us if the division is still up for grabs after this weekend, because then we are forced into a showdown with those fucks.
As opposed to if we seal the division this weekend. Because I figure SF is going to be in the playoffs regardless. They're gonna beat Houston and we're probably gonna have to put them down in the playoffs.
