You're preaching to the choir. Back in 2021 practically everybody was worried about playing them in the CCG. I wanted to. Slay that dragon and we did. And i don't want to hear the word Tartt. But apparently, you seem worried about the Seahawks. We put up 58 pts on that D in 2 games, 581 yards the last time we met. They ought to be rooting for Chicago because they're worried Sammy is going to turn into a pumpkin again against the Rams.
Oh man don’t get me started on Tartt. The dropped Tartt INT is the single most overrated “what if” play in NfL history. There was still 10 minutes left in the game. They would’ve had the ball on their own 30. It was a one possession game! This notion that SF would’ve iced the game if he caught that pick is not backed up by the facts!!! Drives me nuts.

With me it's not any kind of mystique with SF, it's just that Shanahan/Selah routinely outcoach McVay/Shula in head to head matchups.

Notice how defensive minded coaches tend to focus more on STs than offensive coaches. Shanahan has a 225 lb RB which probably runs a 4.6, returning kicks, who rarely gets past the 30 yrd line. Meanwhile, Seattle goes out and trades for a dangerous KR guy who probably runs a sub 4.4, who made two of the biggest plays of the season for them.
And we have Ronnie Rivers & Whittington returning kicks. Whittington isn't awful, but nothing special.
