It's Countesses (sp?) job to separate the ball carrier from the ball. Either go low and risk a serious knee injury or go high as he crouched down and what happened, happened. There is a third choice, saying Ole' and letting the guy get a TD, which I imagine woudn't go well with his coach...

Its hard to be on the field running full speed and the dynamics change at a blink of an eye. You are spectating 3rd person, and letting your emotion take over. Wasn't intentional regardless.
