Shanahan hardly used him all season even when they were up. CMC was ridden coming off a season where he hardly played. Niners injury issues have everything to do with Shanahan and roster management.
With the way the Bears ran the ball on Philly you would think he would use him a bit and maybe use McCafferey as a receiver more.
