Don't matter to me! I'm not going to any of those games! Not even if the Rams are 1 of the teams! STL, Jax or LA, that's it!

First time reading this thread. So far I've read all the Brittish comments in Stewie Griffins voice. It just felt right.

Great points, man. London games SUCK!! I feel sorry for any teams fan bases that lost a home game for this joke. They wanna go watch their team, but instead, are gonna go entertain a bunch of Englishman who need a rule book at the door and play "futball" in the parking lot.

London = Lame
I can understand why Americans would get annoyed at their teams playing in London. But if it didn't happen I would not of had chance to see the rams play even if it was against the gaytriots and we got smashed. It's HARD bieng a fan of the nfl in Europe you gotta stay up late as fuck drinking coffee all night to watch all the rams games that start at midnight and you got to pay a lot of money to watch the games. None of your friends like the nfl and say things like why do they need pads an helmets, it gets really boring. The UK fans who go to the games don't need rule books and although some might be new to the game most are long time fans. I have a Warner rams Jersey (away) and a Faulk (home) and it's crazy to see some of the old time players names on the fans jerseys. If I was in your shoes I'm sure I would say the same thing but I'm not and I got to see the rams play so I'm happy with that.

What stereotypes? That we like football? The whole of Europe loves football? As do I!
I'm a die hard Liverpool fan and rams fan and there's tons more out there who watch the nfl as well as football with the same amount of knowledge that you have.

Nfl uk fans are very dedicated. Staying up till 5 am 3 nights a week sort of backs that up :)
You UK people can't even pick a decent team! Man U for the win baby!!! ;)

It's a mess and the league needs to pull the plug. If the NFL were to expand out there, I would feel bad for players that would have to move that far away and travel that much. It's a huge disadvantage and an equally huge mistake. I don't support NFL in London. It's not like my opinion matters, though.

I'm really quite suprised by the ignorance and narrow mindedness off your posts in this thread.

Dont get my wrong, I think you can and should believe what you believe and I am certainly not judging you personally. But in my opinion your thoughts are unfair and lack imaginiation. However, that is one of the great things about the forum. I notice people are taking your comments with a grain a humor and acceptance, and thats awesome because to me it is a testamentt to why Ramsondemand works so well.

Its a great world out there. Enjoy it.

It's for the best. You call it ignorance, I just call it being right. NFL is gonna go down in flames at the rate it's going. First the players give it a bad image, then the owners start screwing over their fan bases, and now it's taking the purity of out of be solely a U.S. sport with its teams. Enjoy, soup sandwhich coming at you. This isn't like baseball where it got desperate and extended on Cannada, I don't care about that (I know somebody would bring that up.) This is about the very fat hog getting much fatter. Where is the line gonna be drawn? And that's precisely what I'm doing, I'm drawing the line. You can stick ignorance in your ear, cutie. I hope it comes out the other side as politically correct as possible.

I cant recall correctly what is acceptable here....would it be okay to retract my previous comments and just call you a fuc.cking idiot? I'm sure someone will be reminding me soon.

So, in your mind, the demise of the NFL is upon us, and the percieved exodus across the pond is going to be a catalyst in that demise?

wow.

Every now and then, the process fails us at the door and guys like you are allowed inside i guess.

cheers mate. ;)

Did you really just call me that two word obscenity and follow it by trying to get into my mind?

Let's just say it didn't take much for me to figure you out. And you are clearly unsure of what to think of me. I couldn't help but notice.... mate.

Jolly good, ole' chap! Cheerio. (y)

It's simple why the NFL likes going to London. They make millions of dollars more playing a game there than they do in a teams home stadium.

First off Wembley is bigger than most any NFL stadium (over 90K) so ticket sales are sky high, plus it's a "premium" event like a concert so ticket prices are higher than they are in the USA.

So lets say it's a home game for the Rams versus Seattle. There are more seats, about 25K more, and the prices are much higher. So the two teams split a WAY bigger pot. Plus IIRC the Rams would get the $$$ from the suites, which is huge, plus the NFL makes a ton because everyone that goes is buying souvenirs and tons of gear at a way higher rate than a regular game in the USA and they are paying a way higher price.

Now add in TV money from a local network, then inside the stadium advertising and concessions and all the rest.

A few years back I thought I had heard that teams make about 30 mil more in a London game than in a regular US game.

It's the money, I don't think there are any serious plans to expand there. The plan is to keep cashing checks. If they move a team there the "special event" feeling goes away.
