Whats the likelihood of this.

From what I see, I think its VERY possible....if not probable....

I would wager it is the most likely scenario after the 1rst round. Of course that would mean the Rams are likely to be playing either the seahawks or the 9ers to kick off round two.

I'd rather it be the Seahawks. I really don't want to deal with the 9ers or their fans anymore....

On the flip side, nothing tastes sweeter than Whiner tears!!
Well, sounds like that final week matchup of the 9ers and seahawks is gonna be “interesting”.

My preference? If the Rams are gonna play the 9ers, I want it to be in the NFCCG. That would be their 3rd consecutive road game.

…but none of this matters much until we win on Thursday

Hell, we might get to play both of them.

Let's say the teams finish this way.

Rams #1 14-3
Chicago #2 12-5
Philly #3 11-6
Tampa #4 9-8
Seattle #5 13-4
San Fran #6 12-5
Green Bay #7 whatever

Chicago beats Green Bay
San Fran beats Philly
Seattle beats Tampa

Rams play San Fran (Rams win)
Chicago plays Seattle (Seattle wins)

Rams play Seattle (Rams win)

We could be 7-1 vs the best division in the NFL

Rams play AFC

Carolina will win the South, but I agree with the rest. That Carolina-Seattle game will be sneaky good....course for CAR all that matters is the games vs the Bucs....

Eliminating the 49ers in the playoffs so they go go watch the Rams win a Super Bowl in their stadium would be an awesome scenario.

But considering that the only teams with winning records that they have beaten are the Rams and Seahawks, both when the 9ers were relatively healthy…

I don’t think they advance in the playoffs. They’re frauds

And we still have the best record in the NFL playing in the NFC West.

That's how badass we are. ;)
Right, except our record is nearly the same as Seattle's and the 9ers. One game separates at most.

They still gotta go out and handle business.

Agree 100%. I’d bet that’s a very likely scenario. What I’m saying, though, if that’s the way it has to be then I’d rather the seahawks and 9ers switch positions in the scenario so the Rams get them after they would have played 2 road games already.

7-1 vs the NFC West? Wow. Now that WOULD be impressive.

It could be possible that we play an NFCW team in the divisional round and the other NFCW team in the NFCC. I dont want it to go that way, but it is very possible unless the whiners lose in the wildcard round.

I believe the whiners are 2-3 against winning teams and they end the season against 3 winning teams.

Yup. Hopefully a week of Rivers getting back into the swing of things really helps the colts. It will be interesting to see how it shakes out. We all know they shouldn’t have beat us

I’d much rather face the whiners than the Shecocks in the playoffs. I think we know them and Shamahan better and in reality we should have beaten the whiners in both those games.

Yeah SF is a cut below Seattle and LA. Good team. But not likely to do anything in the playoffs. Can't rule them out due to the quality of Shanahan's scheme, but he can only do so much.
