I really like the idea of playing with tempo. Makes it harder for them to sub, makes it easier to read coverage and pressure. Also takes the crowd out of it a little bit.

If I were the seahags... I would design my gameplan around short passes because that is where the Rams have been vulnerable all year. If they want Darnold to throw deep I believe our pass rush will get there. And Jackson-Smith Enjigba (who I would double with a safety) and Cooper Kupp can get open but not so much on deep routes. So... if I'm Mcvay.... i would play press or man coverage and take away the short stuff. Make Darnold beat us deep, which I don't think he can, especially with that oblique injury.
I Also think it will be important for the D to get off the field. Play more aggresive and the O to control TOP. It has been a long tough month with no breaks. Hawks have had it easier over that same time period. If its close and we need to protect a lead with D on the field it could get ugly if they have been on the field to long. We cant deny the extra ware and tear.
A good lead would take the hawks out of the running game as well
