Dude the combine speed is a joke. it's run in shorts. You seem to think, 4.55 is slow. Perkins is 6'3" so 4.55 is lightning fast. If he was an edge or TE that would be great speed. The average CB is timed at 4.48 while the average WR is 4.49 and most of them aren't 6'3" tall weighing 213 lbs. IMO game speed is more important and 4.3 times are what is far more important. Go ahead and convert those MPH speeds to timed 40 yd speed and see what they are. Just remember Hill is 5'10" and 185 lbs.

Why do you think the Rams don't bother with the Combine? Why do you think they put more emphasis on the Senior Bowl, and game analytics in their player evaluations? Game speed and quickness is far more important. That is why more and more teams, including Staley bringing analytics to the Chargers, are gaining traction.

Dude we all know it's a joke that's not the point. He never ran a 40 yard dash that was clocked at 4.3. It's not rocket science it's really simple to grasp. If you'd said he ran in game the speeds listed above you'd be right. If you said in game he ran almost as fast as a guy that ran a 4.3 40 yard dash you'd be right. If you say he ran a 4.3 40 yard dash you'd be wrong. Dude he didn't run a 4.3 40.

This QB class is absolute trash. They all have pretty glaring flaws, either physically or fundamentally. It's hard for a team to draft a QB in the first couple rounds that they don't think has top starter potential, seems pretty pointless to draft a guy who's ceiling is mid tier.
