Unwritten nonsense is what it is. If the Rams wanted him on their roster he'd be on the roster it's really not that hard to figure out. If they wanted him after the Eagles signed him it wouldn't be hard to trade for him he's listed as their 3rd center after all it's not like we'd be trading for an All Pro. Besides we have the legend Cam Shelton we don't need him. This fascination with a 3rd stringer to the point people make up some rule is amazing.
Unwritten rules, OS. And again,
we would've had him on the roster by a Waived/IR rule had the Eagles not broken those unwritten rules, which basically NO OTHER TEAM DID. They were LITERALLY the last team that could've made a waiver claim. NO OTHER TEAM did because
they respected that unwritten rule, until Howie Roseman and his Philadelphia Shit-eating-birds made a claim. No other team did that before the Eagles in more than a decade with every other player who had potential but was Waived/IRed in that decade. The ONLY OTHER TWO TIMES IT HAPPENED IS BECAUSE IT WAS BELICHEAT WHO DID THAT, and we
ALL know just how scummy HE was.
If the Rams wanted him on the roster
while he was injured, that takes away depth. I know it's hard to figure out for you; you certainly love to be the contrarian amongst us, but surely you understand that an injured undrafted rookie is always going to be designated with Waived/IR, right? As for trading? Are you serious? Yeah, sure, trade a seventh-round pick (for example, our Tim Keenan or Konata Mumpfield, or even C.J. Daniels, since we traded two sevenths to get him), just to get someone back WHO SHOULD'VE ALREADY BEEN ON OUR ROSTER were it not for a team going against a code that nobody had broken before then.
Third string center? You're neglecting to mention that he's their second-string guard at both spots as well. He is their top reserve who has been receiving numerous accolades from the team and according to Eagles' media, and he will make their team. There's also a little thing called "development"; maybe you've heard of it? He's developing on their roster. Maybe he turns out to be nothing like you think, but OUR TEAM was the one who was SUPPOSED to develop him, were it not for something that, aside from Belicheat, nobody had
ever done, because they respected other teams.
As for the bolded, he's such a "legend" that you don't even know his first name.
Coleman. It's not rocket science, just a simple glance on
fucking Wikipedia, if not the Rams roster, could've helped you there.
I apologize for the caps and harshness, but I don't know how else you'll get why we're all pissed because I've
certainly tried everything else, and you're
certainly being as obstinate as a mule about it.
