Forgot about Peters. I think by the time Talib got here he was not considered a problem. Was a solid SB winning vet. I think he won a SB in Denver?Ramsey, Peters, Talib.....yes every player is vetted. The teams don't control how a player conducts themselves therefore they are taking a chance. Its literally the definition of luck. Teams are simply hedging their bets.
Ramsey wanted out of Jax, but was never a problem here. So their vetting was on point.
The biggest gamble then was Peters and that was in McVays 2nd year as was Talib. So can't think of anyone over the last 5 years.
