Seems to be smoke about them going Styles than Tyson/Downs. Seems to be some internal disagreement in Giants whether to go Tyson or D.

As far as talent goes, I think you go Styles then Downs and get your WR later. Downs is the superior player to Tyson now though Tyson may have a higher ceiling but that's a narrow road.

The've got the makings of a really good 12 personnel offense and while they're missing another WR, I don't think that have to take one high.
maaaannnnn, I dunno about Styles... gives me Aaron Curry vibes.

I'm not sure that's the case. The class woth jamar chase class followed by the Justin Jefferson was ironically the reason we're not being fair to current drafts. Those two drafts were widely seen as 2 of the best classes of all time heading into it and every class after has just been "normal"

I can't remember hearing the NFL Media types ever stating the draft is a treasure trove of talent. There is so much hype/BS that I stop listening to everyone......even here every year there are people who swear that this or that player is a god and "Generational Talent" that must be drafted.........................................I think Manning was the last time it was accurate.

I've have been extremely pleased with the Rams over the last decade in finding talent throughout the draft. (doesn't mean they haven't flopped on picks, but we seem to do well............minus 2013 apparently)
:)

Yeah it's all a random crapshoot. People forget that these are kids getting drafted. Some might be tapped out as far as potential goes and others might be still figuring it out. No science to it lol but the rams seem to get it right more often than not.

I do remember a few people on this board raving about Donald. I wonder how he turned out.

And also Kupp. Was he any good?

It wasn't just the Rams, 2013 is probably the worst draft across the board in the last 15 years.

From what I've seen out there, this isn't a great draft, probably not as bad as 2013 and there are positions like center and IOL that will be areas of need for us that match up in this draft when it comes to depth and need.

Not sure what the best course of action is for us though I'm partial to trying to maximize picks on the 1st two days and pick up complimentary guys (starting/swing OT, complimentary receiver, LB depth, possible backup QB - eh) to keep the machine humming.

One thing that goes unmentioned on this board a lot: I do expect Fergy to take a step this offseason. I'm not saying the kid is gonna be a stud but I think there's a shot that he will offer quite a bit more in the slot and out wide as a receiver and quite possibly some as the Y attached to an OT.

Rumor BS but still....
