"Get him to be a Jaguar?" Was Hunter a rare College Free Agent, and had a say in what team he would join, or was he a collegian with ZERO say in the matter? I'm confused....

Not sure how many times I have to say I disagree with your assessment of Simpson before you get it.
I get you disagree with my assessment of Simpson but I wanted to make clear you understood what I was saying.

From your comments, it really appeared you completely misunderstood what I was saying.

But then again, I probably was misunderstanding what you were saying other than you disagree with my assessment of Simpson.

That I got loud and clear.

I do see that you are indeed confused.
You don't think there's some "recruiting" and talks with high draft picks in particular going on when they draft these guys to make sure they want to play for and have enthusiasm for their team?
Have you ever heard of Eli Manning?
He had a say in who he wanted to play for and it worked out exactly like he wanted it to.
Also Jarquez Hunter specifically let teams know that if they drafted him he wanted to play both ways.
Look it up. You can learn something.
Personally, I would want to draft someone who specifically wanted to play for my team as well.
Call me crazy. ;)

Whatever you say, man.
Since you make the rules.
...*Travis*...
specifically said that he wanted to play both ways and he knew he was going to be a first-round draft pick as did everybody else.
If you don't think teams talked to him about that prior to drafting him?
I think you are totally wrong on this one.
But like I said;
Whatever you say, man.

Its not that serious Brother, I'm half joking. But seriously, if ANYONE, including Travis, thought he could play both ways as often as he wanted to in this League and be effective, is major delusional. Hunter wanted to play both FULL TIME. If that were ever the case by the end of a season he would suck at BOTH positions.

Youre right in the sense that the Jags played him along, my question is, WHY? Awful trade up by the Jags IMHO. More of a ticket-selling move than a Super Bowl desiring move.

And really, outside of Elway and Eli, has any Collegian chose his drafted Pro team? Burrow couldn't. Caleb couldn't. Remember Deion was trying for Shadeur, LOL.
