I for one would be intrigued by adding Murray to our QB room to sit and witness what a professional QB in a professional organization looks like. I doubt he miraculously transforms into a taller, more durable franchise QB but it could be good….

….in the event that Stafford suddenly hangs it up a year from now…I’d rather have Kyler Murray as a bridge QB over Jimmy G or any other old QB who can’t use his legs to make something out of nothing.

I hear ya, but the Kliff Kingsbury connection gives this rumor some traction, imo
Don't think it's out of the realm of possibility but Murray will have the same issues with us that he had with Kliff which is his inability to attack the middle of the field which is a staple of the McShanahan offense. McVay gets red in the face if he can't run dagger five times a game.

Sure seems like option 1A is them bringing back Jimmy but not sure he doesn't take a shot with Arizona if the Malik musical chairs leaves them bereft.

Edit: The funny think is Jimmy has always struggled with middle of the field throws himself.

There's nothing to "fuck" about
Team that signs him will only be on the hook for league minimum while the Tards pick up the rest
Meh, I won't be upset by it as a backup for 1 year. But I am not a Murray fan even if he is basically free. Maybe being in a real organization with real expectations makes him commit 100% but I have to see it to believe it. I'd rather draft someone to sit behind Stafford for a few years.

That's exactly it.
1 year deal then some team signs him to a nice contract and the Rams get a comp pick. Works for me!

Good point. Goff also struggled in that area towards the end. No confidence throwing into traffic across the middle. Can’t deny Murray’s ability to escape and hurt teams with his legs though.

The thing with evaluating anything Cardinals is, there are(were)multiple levels of failure there.

Bidwell’s rudderless ownership >A bad GM in Keim >Kingsbury who was in over his head as a HC > Murray who has flaws.

Which one of the turds in the bowl can be removed and polished and which ones are just turds?
