$78M just feels greedy. And yes I fully support capitalism and the market, but if you're a QB taking that much of your team's cap all you're doing is hurting yourself.
That's the thing, he isnt. That was merely his cap number as he's on year 7 of a 10 year deal
All things considered, his annual cap hits are low comparatively speaking

If he moves on it could be because the Rams let him know that they will add another QB whether in FA or the draft. Not that they will tell him how they will add a guy, but that they advise him to look elsewhere. So that could be first hint of changes coming to the QB room.
Well keep in mind that this is just a "thought" from someone who has had some lousy takes in the past.
He also believes that Miami can trade Tua, which is laughable

Not caring about that report, but just saying if Jimmy & his agent are out actively looking for a new team, it could be because McVay told him to.

There's no reason to think he's looking for a new team

I wouldn't mind checking Evans out as a big, sure handed, wins contested catches guy for a couple of years ........ at the right price .......... in addition to using a first round pick at the wide out position to fix that roster spot.
That adds more veteran savvy to the team, just in case DA has an injury (again), and also another red zone threat as well.

I said IF he starts looking. I didn't say he was.
Gotcha.
If history has anything to say, the Rams signed him before the draft both last year and ‘24, so it shouldn’t take much time to know
