Yeah I’m big on Likely as well. The only thing is I’d expect there to be a fairly heavy market for him, so it’d be pretty pricey to bring him in. But I definitely would not be upset if the Rams went in that direction.
I wouldn't mind if it's something around 14-18 million a year for four years. He's certainly young enough, and certainly talented enough to live up to that contract, and it'll likely be less than what Kyle Pitts (whom I absolutely don't want) would get on the open market if he isn't tagged.
That or we sign a Romeo Doubs and/or trade for a Dontayveon Wicks/Tank Dell/Jalen McMillan/Jack Bech to help give Nacua and Adams some help and compete with the receivers we've got and/or will draft.
I agree with going for multiple receiver this off-season whether through trades or the draft. Our receiving core is just way too bare bones past Davante/Puka. Whittington just hasn’t lived up to expectations and Konata needs way more time to develop.
I still question McVay’s thinking having those two on the field in 11 personnel rather than Tutu in the playoffs. Love the guy or hate him, he still clearly was the third best receiver on this team (despite his flaws) and probably by a pretty significant margin, which doesn’t bold well for our receiving depth moving forward.

I can't wait for his undersized and overpaid ass to leave in FA so the Tutu derangement crowd will need to find a new object of focus.

Believing that Tutu had some special edge to offer the Rams offense, in spite of all the empirical evidence that suggests otherwise, is like believing in the tooth fairy, or something equally absurd like communism. He was not the third best receiver if you use any real metric. Which is a very sad statement regarding his ability to translate to this level.
Now maybe he ends up on an offense with a coordinator who will feature him, and a QB who can actually put the ball on him. And if so, then I wish you a bright future wearing that jersey.
But since our QB is Stafford, who tends to miss high, where baby arms cannot reach the ball and where Tutu doesn't seem to be effective at gauging the ball in flight and being where he needs to be to make the catch, I will happily go forward with what is hopefully an upgrade in talent at that WR3 spot. It's time.
I love Whittington and Mumpfield, especially as special teams players - and it is true that receivers take three years to develop properly, so if they bring them back, I won't protest...but we need to upgrade the #3 receiver spot in the worst way. Relying on a sixth-round pick and seventh-round pick is not sustainable.
No, Tutu is not it. He barely got on the field, and when he did, he was never truly impactful aside from one play where the cornerback fell. Use that ten million to pay Puka or someone and move on with a trade or draft pick because he'll never make an impact here.

Don't you know he's just a victim of McVay and Stafford not appreciating his greatness. The clown couldn't match Drew Bennetts terrible production what a waste of a draft pick and a 10 million dollar contract this year.
Okay, so now I know you did not actually read my entire post instead of just cherry picking one part so we can argue back and forth.
Not once did I say, or even imply that Tutu had some special ability. I acknowledged his flaws as a player, said the Rams need to devote multiple resources to upgrading our WR room, and said it doesn’t bode well for our current WR depth that Tutu (with all of his flaws) was probably our 3rd best receiver.
You literally then respond by echoing all of the same exact talking points that I just did, while calling my take “absurd”.
Dude read my entire post and learn the proper context next time before responding. I don’t want to argue just to argue or debate just for the sake of debating. We’re not children.
