Age dont mean anything in this league. Adams is almost 34 too! Stafford is 38, Case kneeum is 38 and Just kicked the Shit outta Eagles D! We need Wide recievers now, or Adams is gonna get hurt too. Most of our Tight ends are hurt! 26 year old players are just as hurt as the 30 year olds.
OBJ is an OLD 34, 2 blown ACL and a wrecked ankle

Wtf?
Cowboys own McCarthy. His contract must of said Jerruh will always own your ass.

Cowboys are hurting. They are desperate. However if the Texans beat them then I guarantee even the Joey Porter trade isn’t going to save them.

FACTS. Salute Amigo

Hard pass on OBJ. He seems cooked. Easy to see why. ACL and broken ankle. Hard to bounce back from that to be productive at his age.
Don't forget about his "pizza and the white sugar with a lady ;)" episode if that was even true. Absolutely loved him as a Rams though -horrible injury during OUR last Super Bowl. He would've been the MVP.

Eagles' Lane Johnson just retired.

That's a huge loss for Philadelphia.
Yeah, local Philly radio is already throwing in the towel on the season.

It would have been a disaster had the Rams lost on Sunday. That Eagles team isn't beating SF & Seattle. So that would have been a lost serve so to speak. Losing to a team our rivals won't lose to.

Sort of like Denver after Seattle beats 'em without Surtain.

Even after more than 57 years of being a die-hard fan, it just amazes me (and REALLY does NOT impress me), how so many football fans live-and-die by one or two early-regular-season-games.

Terrific / Impressive Win ... Super Bowl Baby!!! ... Can't be stopped.
Disappointing / Brutal Loss ... Season is Over ... Time for major changes.

The NFL is a Marathon-season and a Battle-of-Attrition, with Unexpected Curves and Challenges.

To be successful, teams need to be Resilient, have strong Leadership, plus Mental and Physical Toughness
at both the Coaching and Player levels. And, even with all that, Dumb Luck and Good Timing are huge factors ... from Injuries ... to Officiating ... to Weather ... and even Bounces of-Damn-the-Ball.

Almost every Franchise (and their fan bases) have known periods/stretches of Success and Failure.

That's the NFL

I have been following the Rams and this sport ... like no other ... for almost sixty years; and I can tell my fellow ROD members with certainty ... I have Absolutely No Fucking Idea what the 2026 Rams will be.

The impressive thing about McVey is he’s never completely satisfied. He’s not afraid to make bold trades, hard decisions on players/coaches (that I know he really respects), trades before deadline or picking up a ST player for incremental improvements. He is 24/7 looking at ways to improve the Rams which I respect and enjoy. The one thing I’d like to see him achieve before he retires is to have a 2 - 3 year run with a historically dominant NFL team that crushes components consistently and impressively cruises through the playoffs all the way to back to back Super Bowl wins. Thats for him, the Rams organization and all true Rams fans (especially those that have stuck with them for 55+ years like me).

Yup, as much as I dislike the Eagles, great player. Sounds like he is prioritizing someone being sick in his family. Believe I read somewhere that it was his mom or dad. Life is too short so sounds like a good dude to make sure he's there for them.

I hope it is only that.
Parents' health is certainly an important factor for adult children (Johnson is 36) but it is a part of life almost everyone will deal with at some point. Wish the best for both his parents.

That being said, in the past, Johnson has discussed his issues with mental health (depression and anxiety).

I think he should be credited for raising awareness on these topics, as there is additional credibility when a successful, young, physically-fit, giant of an athlete speaks-up about topics such as that.

In his retirement announcement / statement posted yesterday, Lane Johnson specifically mentioned both "personal and family priorities" and added ... "Right now, it is critical that I focus on my mental health"
