I know a highlight reel is supposed to make a guy look good, but I love me what I see when I watch this guy. He’s reading the field and making plays when conditions are not always ideal. He’s big enough and his arm looks strong enough.
The concern is his lack of starts. The jump to a faster game vs better athletes and more complex schemes is gonna take a bit to learn—if he ever does.
Wouldn't it be great for him to work out and the Rams roll from a HOF QB into a legit starter with his whole career in front of him?
He WILL be a good Quarterback in this League. ESPECIALLY if he's fortunate to play under McVay. His floor is Purdy/Nix. On the McVay Rams, that's Champ Game/Super Bowl territory. Also has the potential to be better than both those guys mentioned.
Agree completely. With this team, and the players that Les trades for and drafts.. all Ty Simpson has to be is a SMART game manager and this team can win super bowls. Fingers crossed.

Same here. A friend of mine was diagnosed and gone inside of 2 years. I saw him in a walker but he was fine communicating. Then a wheel chair when he couldn't communicate at all. Then gone. Terrible
Yeah, ALS is a quick mover. Just like Pancreatic Cancer. You get it, its over within 2 years. Just like we saw Lou Gehrig go from GOAT to deceased in no time.
If I ever got a diagnosis like that I'd take a short cut the moment my faculties started to fail. That is one of those scenarios where choosing suicide makes perfect sense for all involved.
My dad passed from ALS at age 66. His case was slow developing. He had 8.5 years from diagnosis to passing. He was actually blessed in that he had cardiac arrest before he got to the point where he couldn’t talk, eat or breathe. It’s a terrible unforgiving disease.

Horrible disease, just like cancer. Fuck ALS. I'm so sorry for anyone who has experienced it or their families and friends.
Lost a good friend about a decade ago to ALS. Big strong farm boy (played center in the CFL for a couple of years) - 6'5" and 280 lbs at his peak. Died less than a year after his diagnosis sitting around a buck seventy. Very sad.
Kept a good sense of humour until the end - our last conversation had him joking that the weight loss from the ALS was an upside - first time he'd seen his dick in years.

Truly sorry to hear this. I hope you had quality time with him prior to his passing.
