I agree with that, but those who argue about going all in this year, why wouldn't you mortgage some of the 27' draft to maximize the 26' season, which could be Stafford's last? Again, I wouldn't either, but some say its all in this year so don't waste a pick on Simpson or even another developmental QB in the top 100. With that logic then move up for a Tate or Styles, 27' picks be dammed.

I like Thieneman a good amount, but where would he play? Would that really improve our team much?

McShay also suggests we might be a team that has Simpson as the #1 QB in the draft.

Wow, imagine that, Sean McVay and Les Snead think higher of Ty Simpson than most posters, amazing......

I can see the top WR’s coming off the board to the NYG, CLE, NO, KC and MIA.

Tate, Tyson, Lemon, maybe Cooper Jr….[poof!]

I know many will say just grab an OL or grab BPA defense at 13. Im punting that pick at that point. Grab 2027 assets.

Trading down could work but it has to be a worthy haul.

Just my feelings a couple days out from this thing. Im admittedly discouraged we’re going to miss out on adding a weapon for #9

I'd be shocked if Cooper Jr went before us but certainly possible with the amount of WR needy teams picking in top 12. That said, this is also a very deep WR class which can't be said about many other positions. I'd assume, if a team loves 2 different players similarly, they may opt to go in the direction of the less deep position, assuming there will be a solid WR in 2nd or 3rd for them.

He didn’t say the Rams do think Simpson is #1.

He’s suggesting that the Rams Might be a team that does. That’s called click bait and teasing. Throwing a ton of maybes like crap in the wall for views.

If the Ram had Simpson 1 and wanted him, I seriously doubt mcshay would know this information for a fact (nor be able to share it). Don’t be so gullible.

We know nothing. The rams may take Simpson at 13. They could trade to 2 and take Simpson. They could have Simpson on do not draft list. Anything is possible. What’s not possible - us or media talking heads knowing exactly the rams draft plans.

Anything is possible, just wondering that if the Rams do take Simpson somewhere in the 1st if the "Simpson 4th and 6th Rounders" on here are gonna call McVay out on it.

Personally, I think this is just some BS to get someone to trade up with them. They do not want to be picking at 3.

Cards need a lot of things, RB is not high on that list.

Yeah. I believe they’ll take him, if they don’t get a deal to trade out. Local fans and media are carrying some trauma from taking LB’s and hybrid freak types that busted under Keim’s watch.
Zaven Collins, Isaiah Simmons.
