I'll proudly call my self an early adopter of Tyson. Jerry as well. Said from the beginning he is the best WR in the class (easily IMO) and should be the 1st one picked. Was just hoping he'd get to us at 13, think that is impossible now. Tate might. :bigcry:

I'd take Lemon over Tate and would MUCH rather trade back a bit for Cooper then draft Tate, just my thoughts.
When is the last time an Ohio State receiver missed?

Marvin Harrison Jr. Maybe not a bust, but certainly not the sure-thing #1 receiver Arizona was hoping for.
Tissue soft competitor. It’s why I don’t get caught up in the measurables, physical traits and workouts too much.

I want college level alpha competitors, who will transition to the big league with that mindset. Timid competitors have little to no chance of being special players at the next level.

A good example for me is Makai Lemon. I see nice enough production and ability, but he’s small and considered by many to be limited to a slot guy. But he’s a dog…and I’d be happy to see him in horns for that reason.

The antithesis of Van Jefferson who could have been something special if he didn’t sleep walk through big games.

A long winded post that describes that I absolutely love alpha competitors in a prospect.

I wasn't a fan of Harrison. Never have been, but that made it really painful for me when he BBQ'd our secondary as a rook.

But I do like Tate, I just think in a normal draft he's probably off the board after pick 15. Tet was a better prospect than him last year. Though Tate by all accounts is a top notch kid, so I think he's a very safe pick. Which in this draft counts for a lot.

What will be interesting is how Harrison plays under McVay's system. I still don't think much of him but who knows, maybe they'll get more from him with a better mind drawing it up.
