I'm pretty confident the rams are moving. Dunno if up or down.
I do like him more than Egbuka, who i would've gladly taken last year. Tate gives me Higgins vibes. He'll look like a #1 against your team's second corner. You might not want him as the top dog though.

Hard for me to put much confidence on a trade happening when we know nothing of the other part.
That being said, I think it's safe to assume that the Rams prefer to move around the board to get what they want whether that's a blue chipper or accumulating draft capital.

But I still wouldn't take him because of the other 3 issues.
Back injuries at such a young age will possibly reoccur constantly. I just don't want to take a chance on him. I would only take a chance on him if in college he was in the Burrow category.
Look at Mike Marshall for the Dodgers. He hurt his back and was constantly in and out of the lineup.
However, on that note, Greg Brock & Mike Marshall both came up at the same time and Greg Brock pisses me off. This power hitter extraordinaire who allowed the Dodgers to get rid of Steve Garvey. And then Greg Brock sucked.

Yeah I'm pretty sure Stribling is widely considered a 3rd rounder or later. Plenty of good WR's in the 2nd, no need to reach.
Yeah this is pure speculation based on how aggressive the rams have been about moving up the last two years and how they eventually moved down. Seems they like to jump around. Can't imagine that, in a year with few high end guys and more depth, the rams don't want to do one or the other.

In the mock I ran there was a huge run on WR's in bottom of second through end of 2nd.
I expect that to happen next week too. I think there may not be guys you hope will be there at 61.
I like the first two rounds.
I need some clarity from others on what the strategy would be with a mid-round QB selection.
It seems doubtful he'd be QB2 because McVay expressed a preference for a vet this year.
Are we hoping he develops into the QB of the future? Not super excited about that plan. That's what we did with Bennett.

I think its now 50/50 as likely we take O-Lineman as Wide Receiver at 13.

I guess my question is: who's the vet out there that offers more than Nuss? Perhaps we can trade for one? I guess Wilson. I think Taylor and Mariota are cooked. Probably why Jimmy hasn't signed with us yet. He's the best option for teams.
Perhaps it's my distaste for a seahawk but I guess we could go with Wilson. The entire offense would have to change. I'm throwing up in my mouth a little.
I like Nuss as a guy who is what Bennett was supposed to be, he can get you 2-2 in a 4 game window where Stafford is out and there's a small outside chance that he could be your eventual starter.

I'm not against the player, but don't see the sense in the strategy of drafting him. Mostly because there's only a "small outside chance that he could be your eventual starter."
I don't want to waste a mid-round pick on a QB2 when they can pick up a vet.
Throw in the players he’s spent 1rst rounders on in trades and Snead has brought in a lotta talent with those picks.
Consider our new CB (McD) the #29 pick. Barring injury, I’m feeling pretty good about this one too.
Yeah snead is very underappreciated. I'm glad we no longer have people claiming he was a Brad Holmes merchant.
