Sometimes you are a tad hardcore on some stuff but this time I fully agree with you.Never mind. Holy shit. Don't want him now.

I'm guessing there's a lot we don't know but whether or not he slides will be telling. This is only new information to most NFL fans. NFL teams already know about this incident.
Not fully correct. If teams are saying that it doesn't seem like Bain has been fully transparent with them, it sounds like they believe there is stuff they may not know. This is only new information to most NFL fans. NFL teams already know about this incident.
If he wasn't, we're not drafting him. McSnead have shown that they can handle problem players, but they won't like a guy who assisted in killing someone with careless driving and wasn't honest about it through the process. That's the sad thing: had he been honest and shown remorse (which would start by taking accountability and being truthful), it would've been much less of a dealIIRC the Rams had a meeting with Bain. Wonder whether he was forthcoming in that discussion with them.
His great grandfather, Enos, wasn’t too shabby of a baseball player. His dad Sergeant must be very proud.

The lack of transparency will hurt him just as much, if not more, than the underlying infractions.
Yeah. It seems that if teams did not know about this, they either didn’t do their due diligence, haven’t yet, or didn’t really consider him for their board anyway. Each NFL team has Security Operations that provide all of the background information on these guys. Employers run background checks all the time prior to interviews and if still interested can use this information to see if the person being interviewed is going to be fully transparent with them. Believe me, if my tiny employer (in comparison) can do it so can billon dollar organizations. Years ago, I remember reading about teams even hiring private detectives/investigators. Makes sense given that they are about to give these kids millions of dollars.
When interviewed, they can ask players about prior incidents such as this one already knowing the answers. Or simply ask opened ended questions about the past looking to see if someone will admit a past mistake and provide reasoning for it.
Not being fully transparent could simply mean the player is not being completely honest and open about information they already know. Especially an incident such as this as it's public record.
If he were to fall down to the #7 area, that's the only way I see us having a chance at trading up without sending our 2027 1st. Washington needs a RB, but they also need draft capital. We have some of both.Yeah I'm big on Love and would be ecstatic if we somehow got him. He's my #1 player overall but the problem is the cost to go get him. If he somehow falls, which is probably highly unlikely, I'd be hoping we'd jump up to get this guy if the price is right. Once again, highly doubtful that happens.
The SI site is a pain in the ass to read. Shit constantly jumping around moving and sometimes covering the content. Article was informative though.![]()

SI is absolute crap but Breer is still on payroll, only reason to go there. Everything else football related is slop. The SI site is a pain in the ass to read. Shit constantly jumping around moving and sometimes covering the content. Article was informative though.

Now if they asked him about it and he lied or told them a half truth, that probably wouldn’t go over well and he’ll be wearing black and silver or brown soon.
Totally agree which is why I think is highly unlikely to happen. As good as we think Love is, so do a lot of other NFL teams. Too many picking in front of us yo have good odds unless someone puts an AI video of the guy taking hits off the weed mask....quick someone work on that video hahahahahaIf he were to fall down to the #7 area, that's the only way I see us having a chance at trading up without sending our 2027 1st. This is not me hoping this occurs, though I do recognize that he is the best offensive weapon in the draft and would immediately improve our offense.
Smarter football is trying like heck to get a small trade back and grabbing a WR like Tyson (if he falls), Cooper, Concepcion, etc.
Rams may not be high on any of those three. Lemon we don't know if the Rams were one of the teams he interviewed poorly with. Downs and McCoy the medicals may be an issue. This is gonna indirectly hurt us. One less stud Draftee falling. We had outside shots at McCoy, Downs, Lemon.
