Tried telling people. In a weaker draft, there's more incentive to trade. There are less guys each team rates as a first rounder, and it is generally cheaper to trade up.
Makes the most sense. If there's only so many guys to covet, then you better go and get them.

I won't lie guys... I'm circling back around on Sadiq. Seems like a very, very real possibility and leans into Snead's preferences for elite athletes early plus McVay's love for the tight end position and recent trends into 13 personnel. I have some questions about his route running ability and mediocre production but I can see him being very high on the Rams big board with rare traits in what he brings to both the pass and run game. Not necessarily where I'd go personally but I think he'll be available at 13 and just trying to read the tea leaves here.

Yeah, teams have a short list of targets, probably based more on need & BPA at that need position, vs settling for a elite guy at any position since there are fewer elite players. So they have to maneuver to get that guy or bail out and get more darts to throw.

Like I said - he went into detail regarding his reasons - and it's a show on tv, not a click-baity website.
Hood is better staying with a WR on longer routes, where Delane struggles with that.
Simms is wrong. Delane is the better cover CB.
